Laguna Resort - Vilamoura

Had a lovely holiday in Laguna Resort in May 2024 we enjoyed it so much we are going back first week in September. Great food drinks and very good helpful staff. Its only a short uber ride to the old village or the marina.No need for car hire as the uber transport is cheap

Beautiful resort - be aware building site next door. We arrived after a very early flight, we understood that no room would be available until quite a bit later in the day. So we left our luggage and took a slow walk into the marina ( 1.62miles). On arrival we noticed a lot of noise and building work next door to the resort. Cranes and constant boom of a pile driver. The resort is enclosed and gated so very safe and secure. The reception and restaurant were absolutely spotless. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Once inside the resort the building work was less disrupting. Although you could still hear it even over the sometimes loud chatter of the other guests around the pool. The rooms are new, clean and very minimalist style. We found if we sat on the sofa we used the extra duvets as cushions and the outside seating was funky plastic, not comfortable or designed to sit and read a book. Our rooms didn’t get any light on the balcony although the views across to the sea were stunning. It did feel a little style over substance. The pool is small and shallow, due to the enclosed nature, most of the time there were beds available, but the acoustics being as they were when we did have noisy guests by the pool it amplified the noise, which we did find a tad annoying. Absolutely not the fault of the resort. We made use of the free bicycles and took a ride around the nature reserve close by. In all an excellent resort with helpful staff. Even with the little niggles I would still give this resort an excellent score.

My wife and I spent three nights at Laguna Resort. It was very quiet at the hotel because of the time of year but we had a very relaxing time in their spacious apartments. The apartment was very well equipped and we had a splendid view over the championship golf course. We only really had interaction with one member of staff, the hotel receptionist, Isobel, but she was charming and extremely helpful with advice regarding the hotel and local area. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A nice hideaway in the best location of Vilamoura: overlooking golf camps, far away from the crowd and yet close to all local services and the beach. The best was having free bycicle rental at disposal and an accommodation exactly like a home away from home. Everybody was relaxed yet efficient at the reception, and most of all very flexible in order to satisfy the guests' needs.

Beautiful resort with a friendly relaxed vibe. Excellent variety of different size dwellings that suited our needs as a wedding party. All apartments/villas were light, airy, clean and well equipped with great terraces and views. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. A very well presented buffet style breakfast was available every morning at an extra cost, the cook would make to order, her and her husband couldn’t do enough for us, a wonderful couple The only downside for us with no transport was the on sight shop was virtually empty and the nearest supermarket was not within walking distance. This, in no way spoiled our stay. Thank you Laguna Resort we thoroughly enjoyed

The Apartments were very well presented and nicely furnished. Spotless. We were very happy. The resort is so peaceful and very relaxing. Only down side was it was a bit far to walk anywhere, you needed to ring taxi for evening meal or beach but they came in about 10minutes, but just calculate that into your costs. Overall lovely holiday.
