Stayed here as part of tour to watch the rugby at the nearby stadium. Fantastic location, just a 15-20 minute walk to stadium and 5-10 walk to local shopping centre with all the big stores including an Auchan, and also where the Metro station is located. Like elsewhere in France most places closed on a Sunday so the area is very quiet but only a 10 minute ride on the Metro and you are in the centre of Lille, with plenty of squares with great bars and cafes. The staff at the Ibis were lovely, friendly and very helpful, but had great sympathy for them on the Saturday evening as the bar was very crowded as people returned from the rugby match, wanting drinks and pizzas, I’m sure they would have appreciated more staff. We had a great pizza and watched the evening matches which were shown on the TV and large screen. I thought, from reading reviews, that breakfast may be disappointing but no, a lovely surprise, not busy and plenty of choice, choice of teas, fruit juices and coffee , pastries , some fruit and a small cold meat selection, and a small hot choice of bacon, sausages and scrambled egg, the egg was not very warm but just a very small complaint, thoroughly enjoyed everything! I would not hesitate to recommend this Ibis hotel, and a big thank you to the staff.

There's no way this is a 3 star hotel. No amenities, nothing! Small rooms, typical European, the way I see it, but damn, nothing, besides beds and heh, bed sheets. No fridge, but hey, where would you actually put it?! Nice staff, and decent bar area, but other than that I wouldn't recommend this for more than a day.

We stayed here during La Braderie weekend and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful , both at reception and their cafe restaurant pizzeria. Very useful for access to central Lille as metro station only 10 mins walk and the hotel has car parking

We spent a weekend visiting Lille and this hotel was perfect! It is very close to the metro station (villeneuve d’ascq - hotel de ville). The only trouble was finding the reception! There are 2 parkings, however the reception entrance was not indicated on the signboard and it was difficult to find. After several attempts, we decided to ring the bell of the bigger car park and the gate was opened. The room was small, but it was clean. I had requested a room quiet and on a high floor and we were given one on the first floor, on the side of a road. Luckily it was quiet, however I would have preferred a third floor room. Breakfast is ok, the only thing is that the receptionist had to deal with the reception duties and look after the breakfast (maybe take one extra person for a couple of hours during breakfast would be a good idea). Recommended!

Regular stopover on journeys to and from the Continent. Reliable standards of comfort, good food, and helpful staff. A bonus this time was the entertainment during supper, especially 'Bad Moon Rising'!

Hotel qui annonce beaucoup et n'offre pas tout ce qu'il promet manque de personnel, attente longue à l'acceuil, au bar et au resto Propreté olala, au resto le fromage à terre du matin se trouve encore sur place le soir ben oui quand l'aspirateur reste du matin au soir au même endroit près du bar... Festival moules "braderie " annoncé, mais seulement sur réservation Alors au soir pas de moules pour ceux qui n’ont pas réservé, et la carte au mur, seul 2 plats sur les 8 à 10 annoncé peuvent être commandés sans parler de la longue attente ( de nouveau pas assez de personnel pour un hôtel bien rempli) . Mais une grande affiche sur le toit pour faire de la pub pour le resto J’avais l’impression que l’hôtel était géré par des étudiants soit mal payés soit non motivés Merci pour cette expérience que je ne réitère pas
