This is normally an easy go to for my kids birthdays but this trip was poor! I booked for a king suite and only got a room with a queen bed, they stated that they did not have king suites! Or any rooms in the entire hotel with king beds!!! I was obviously very upset because of what I paid for and it was not worth it! Also checking in was a very long and drawn out! I stood in a line for over 45 minutes! I am not typically a person to complain or even write a review to complain, if I don’t have anything good to say I just don’t review at all, but I was very thrown back by this stay! I will be calling customer service tomorrow with my complaint!

I came down for a quick getaway with my significant other and furry child. The hotel was better than expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was kept clean and new looking. The free breakfast was decent. Pet friendly. I would stay there again.

Hotel kegemaran anak perempuan saya di pantai - dan kemudahan tambahan untuk keluarga membolehkan saya bekerja dari hotel jika perlu - sementara munchkin saya masih berseronok.. dia suka kelab kanak-kanak walaupun pada usia 10 tahun dan panggung wayang mini peribadi kerana dia boleh pergi ”sendiri” memandangkan saya hanya beberapa kaki jauhnya. Kolam renang dalaman sungai malas mendapat sambutan hebat - dan bersih serta diselenggara. Kolam renang luaran adalah BEACHFRONT..hampir di dalam pasir yang terletak begitu baik. Beberapa kali kami telah tinggal di sana kakitangan sentiasa di atas dan di luar membantu.
Kejatuhan - Unit A/C boleh menggunakan naik taraf dan tempat sarapan memerlukan beberapa peningkatan hiasan tetapi makanannya NYATA (bukan ”pura-pura telur hancur”) dan disediakan dengan baik dan perkhidmatannya baik. Saya tidak akan menganggapnya sebagai hotel ”Mewah” dan harga bermusim adalah sama dengan pesaing mewah tetapi saya rasa itu bergantung pada cara anda mentakrifkan kemewahan - anak perempuan saya akan memilih hotel ini berbanding Hilton baharu tanpa persoalan.

PPengguna TetamuLokasi yang bagus. Suka balkoni. Sofa tarik keluar sangat tidak selesa. Ia mempunyai sprinģs datang melalui. Sarapan pagi sedap walaupun berkurangan kerana covid. Hotel ini sangat bersih. Pekerja kaunter penerimaan tetamu adalah hebat. Kami pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaRight on the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants, hotel lobby and rooms were clean but AC in rooms doesn't work very well and a few rooms have issues with doors locking guests out of their rooms due to shifting of the security latch. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were friendly, however one manager didn't seem to care if she offended the guests as she made comments about the house keeping ”not speaking English well enough” and making comments behind their backs.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel has been very poorly maintained. Issues with the first room we checked into: the carpet was wet (from an animal or another liquid?), filthy and tattered furniture. Due to the wet carpet, we requested a different room. Second room: we were given a key to an occupied room (awkward and major security concern). Third room: slightly less disgusting (maybe)—the furniture was still dirty, kitchen floor was sticky, missing adequate kitchen items, no extra linens for sofa bed. Brown stains on linen (gross!). Dirty tub (even though there was a strong bleach smell upon entrance). Missing handle in bathroom. Handles for sink were missing the decorative hardware—what was there is the part that is supposed to be covered by the actual handles. Stained curtains. Worn out cushions for chairs and couch. The women’s lobby bathroom was falling apart. The breakfast was very average. We have had better at other Homewood Suites. The person running the breakfast struggled to keep items stocked. It did not seem busy, but either way, send someone to help her if needed. Children could not touch any food or serving item—we travel a lot, and my kids have always been able to get their own breakfast. No coffee or hot water was available after breakfast. I could smell **** in the hallway—gross! Front desk was friendly, on the upside. There seemed to family members/friends of employees hanging out on hotel premises for extended time—not very professional. I used to work for a major hotel chain, and that would have never been tolerated. All in all, I can’t believe a major hotel chain would let a property go so neglected. I would not recommend this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuThe team at the front desk was very welcoming upon our arrival. Though obviously older, our room was nice and clean. The view was fabulous, as we had a full oceanfront view. Access to the beach was right outside the back door. The room has a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was decent and more than simple “continental style”. There were egg frittatas, home style breakfast potatoes, sausage patties and of course a make your own waffle station with lots of toppings, various breakfast pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit options and a few juice options as well. We were close to the pier and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Currently, floors 6-10 are already renovated and they cost more; maybe worth it. It took some effort to get/keep our room as cool as we like it. Overall, I would stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuUpon arrival, First room: AC did not work in main room OR bedroom. Neither unit worked. Television had no volume and remote did not work. Bathtub had not been cleaned well at all. Dirty! Overall room also poorly cleaned. They moved us to another room. Second room: Television audio was in Spanish. Remote did not work. At about 10:00 PM there was standing water in the bathroom that was running back into the bedroom. Grabbed towels and placed them on the floor. Phone in room did not work. Had to go down to the front desk and ask for maintenance to quickly come to room because water was running everywhere. BTW my friend and I were exhausted from a deep sea fishing trip and this was the last thing we felt like dealing with. Maintenance came to room, unclogged the toilet and dried up the floors with towels. I told him it appeared to me the leak was coming from the toilet base. He went to get more towels for us to be able to use. While he was gone I watched the toilet base and could clearly see that the leak was coming from there. I wiped up water 3 to 4 times from the toilet base and it continued to leak onto the floor. At that point the maintenance guy agreed that was the problem and said he could not fix it that night. Again, without a phone working I had to go back down to the front desk and asked to be moved to another room only to find out that the hotel was fully booked. I would also add that no offer was ever made to come up and clean and sanitize the floors and the room for us that night. The only thing that was done was towels were used to clean up the water and the overflow from the toilet. It was very uncomfortable/unsettling to sleep in that room knowing this as well as the odor that was in the air.I expressed my displeasure with the entire experience and shared that I did not think it would be fair or reasonable to have to pay the full amount for the stay.The desk clerk shared with me he could not make that decision and I needed to speak with Teresa, the manager in the morning. I spoke with Teresa and she agreed on the 25% discount for the stay that would be given but we would have to contact you because the reservation was set up through your company and she would hear from you and authorize the 25% discount. She shared that ******* had liability as well for the stay and often times gives refunds when there are incidents like this and we should call them/you. We have yet to fill out the on line survey or Facebook posting request survey or use social media to express our displeasure because we are hoping that this will be resolved in a much better and more appropriate fashion. Lastly I would want to share that the front desk clerks and the maintenance person were as helpful as they could be and very professional. They did their jobs as best they could under the circumstances. The facility and the room itself was the problem not the people.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel needs a lot of updating. The elevator is slower then ever. You’d wait a good 10 mins just for it to stop on your floor. The one Indian lady at the front desk always had an attitude and was rude. The one step in the stair way has messed up stairs and you could see where multiple people dropped cups and food and items from falling (that needs fixed) other then that my family enjoyed our stay but won’t be staying back at this hotel again.
We left the hotel cleaner then when we arrived.

PPengguna Tetamulocation was nice, the main part of the room was very clean and nice looking but the bathroom was in need of a shape up. there was a huge hole in the wall which they covered up with a towel rack, the shower had cracks in it and the toilet paper was just sitting out there was no holder. the shower curtain bar was nothing but rust and the curtain itself was moldy. the “kitchen” area was also very rundown. the cabinets were filled with rust and just stunk.
