Hotel dengan WiFi di Vitrolles

The hotel itself was ok. And the breakfast spread was quite nice. But a couple of problems: when we got to the room there was no toilet paper (or facial tissues). We picked some TP up from the front desk. Then when we went out, we put the “do not disturb” sign out. They came in anyway and remade the bed, but still didn’t bring any facial tissues. But the worst thing is we scheduled a shuttle to the nearby Vitrolles train station for 8:40. The train on Sat comes once an hour, so should have been plenty of time to catch the 9am train. Well the shuttle didn’t show up until about 8:54, and we missed the train. Tue annoying thing is I asked the front desk lady when the shuttle would arrive and she told me two minutes. If it had really been two minutes we would have made it. Or if she told me it would be late we could have walked (it’s like a 10- minute walk). Instead I’m sitting here waiting for an hour for the next train, so I figured I would write a review with all this extra time…

I was looking for a comfortable airport hotel to rest after a long flight and wait for my wife to join me the next day. Glad I chose this hotel for a number of reasons. The shuttle service was quick and efficient. They recognized my Hilton status, gave me a room upgrade and allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was great. The room was very comfortable and obviously had just been updated, unlike most of the other airport hotels that seem to be older. It was also surprisingly quiet, with a beautiful garden and surroundings that made me forget we were so close to the airport. I barely heard any noise and I believe the flight path makes the planes land and take off on the other side of the airport. There is also a lovely wetlands preserve right next to the hotel. The path is a bit hard to find but it's just a few feet before the entrance to the Ibis. I had nice morning run and evening stroll around the lake, something I never expected for an airport hotel. I had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and it was pretty good, though the lunch menu is extremely limited and they had nothing for vegetarians so I had to convince them to make me something off menu which they did. Dinner had a bigger menu and a couple of vegetarian choices. Food was tasty and they had a decent wine and beer menu. Prices were pretty reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was a small buffet that covered all the basics, with freshly baked breads and pastries as one would expect in France. The service level of every person I dealt with was high. Usually airport hotel staff are rude and unhelpful but these guys were great. I will note however that the other reviews that mentioned no ventilation in the rooms were correct at least when I was there. I actually called the hotel the day before I arrived because I hate hot rooms and the receptionist assured me that the AC system was on but when I got there that wasn't the case. Not sure whether it's a technical limitation of their system or an attempt to save money but the room thermostats do nothing at this time of year. However it turned out the weather was perfect and the window could be cracked to get some fresh air so it was a non-issue for me and I was comfortable. just something to be aware of if you come on hot day and they still don't have a working AC system. All in all this place exceeded my expectations for an airport hotel and was the perfect choice for me.

We got what we paid for - a clean and tidy room. It is located 10-15 mins walk from Marseille airport T2. It is convenience if you need to get on a early flight. Just a reminder, they do offer free shuttle to the airport, however, the shuttle van can only take 8 people at 1 time.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is a buffet with many options. The staff are friendly and helpful. The reception staff member (Katia?) was particularly helpful finding a satisfactory solution to help me get to Marseille train station. The only downside to the hotel is its location as it is inaccessible by foot from the airport. If like me your flight is delayed and you arrive after midnight you miss the free hotel shuttle and you will need to take a taxi to the hotel. Arriving late also means that you will have difficulty booking a hotel shuttle place to the airport in the morning. So if possible make sure to book your place when you make your room reservation. The hotel is however within walking distance to the Vitrolles train station so that is a definite advantage if you need to take a train into the center of Marseille or to other cities in France.

We stayed at the Ibis Styles in early August this year and found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The feel of the hotel is a kind of Premier Inn with a bit more fun for the kids: it has a small pool and a table football and pool table. The restaurant is nice too. The overall vibe of the place is nice too and the airport themed rooms appealed to our children. The hotel is next to the main trunk road and you can see the road signs from the pool but I’d say this is a quirky feature rather than a negative. We didn’t have a car so the hotel shuttle bus picked us up from Marseille airport and returned us free of charge. We used the hotel as a base to visit Aix after a couple of days in Marseille itself. To summarise this is a nice cheerful stop off for a couple of days. Good value.

Le personnel est à l'écoute de chaque besoin. J'ai pu y déposer mes affaires quelques jours en avance ce qui m'a été d'une grande aide. Un petit déjeuné parfait et une bonne nuit. Je ne m'attendais pas a cela. Merci, nous reviendrons pour nos déplacement à M****ille.

La personne à l'accueil était très sympathique et agréable. La chambre est super. Parfait pour un long séjour avec la laverie et tout le confort nécessaire. Pour prendre l'avion, ce n'est peut-être pas l'idéal si votre vol est tôt le matin car le premier bus ne passe qu'à 6 heures et l'hôtel reste quand même un peu loin de l'aéroport. Sinon c'était parfait.

The accommodation itself was fine, clean and comfortable. But I specifically booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and the advert said it had a free airport shuttle. As my flight was arriving at 22.30 I need to know I would be able to get safely and quickly to the hotel. However after I booked the non-refundable place, they told me (only after I checked with them) the shuttle did not operate at that time night and that I should get an Uber. I considered booking an taxi via ***********, but they were charging 33 euros for a 6 minute journey. When I arrived, I tried for two hours to book an Uber but mine were willing to go the short distance. I tried to book an airport taxi but they also refused. I considered trying to walk there, but it was very late and dark and I had luggage. I called the hotel and asked them what I should do. They said ”I have no solution”. In the end I had to go with an unregistered taxi tout and paid 40 euros. I told the receptionist the next morning and she simply shrugged.

En tant qu’hôtesse de l’air, j’ai passé plus d’un mois dans cet hôtel vu sa proximité de 7min à pied de l’aéroport. Je tiens à remercier toute l’équipe de cet hôtel que ce soit l’équipe de jour/ nuit/week-end d’avoir rendu meilleur mon séjour étant seule et nouvelle dans cette ville . Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, le nettoyage bien fait, le petit-déjeuner à partir de 4h et gourmand, la navette chaque 30 mn et le service client est juste parfait . Ils sont disponibles jour et nuit prêts à aider jusqu’à vos plus petites préoccupations. Je repasserai sûrement un jour . Merci encore , WARDA.
