The location is excellent, very close to the White House and other attractions. There is a blue line subway that goes directly to Washington National Airport and Congress, and a red line subway that goes directly to Union Station. It is very convenient to travel. The room was nice, clean and tidy. An American breakfast is provided, which is relatively rich, and coffee and hot water are provided around the clock. The concierge can store luggage for free, call a car, etc., and can also delay check-out for a certain period of time.
Disadvantages: The air conditioner in the room is relatively loud, because the check-out time can be delayed, so the room may not be ready at 3:00 check-in time, and you need to wait for a while.

It was a very satisfying hotel with good facilities and services at a really good price! The location was so good and the subway station was right next to it, so it was a better hotel! The staff are so friendly and I think I'll book here next time I come to Washington again!

The location of the hotel is very close to the White House. Although the room is a bit small, it is clean and tidy. The view on the top floor is very good, there is a bar, and the service attitude of the staff is good. The only bad thing is that they call the front desk to get us cleaning supplies and they never show up , a little disappointedđ Also, the bed is too soft, I can't rest well at night, and the coffee machine can't be used. Overall, I only agree that the location and hygiene here are very good. Others are not recommended

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. Itâs generally a good experience. The hotel room was clean and the size was just right for two people to stay. The location is awesome! There are nice restaurants options nearby. And the price at this season was reasonable. Recommend it.

Location is great. But the service is very average, the room keeper even threw my pajama onto the floor when she cleaned the bed. Although the room is spacious, the amenities are so bad. The AC heating is very noisy in my room. The worst thing is the air quality. I got sneezing all the time for three consecutive days during the stay; at first I suspect I got a flu or even covid, but when I got back home every symptoms were gone. It was just in the hotel room that my nose was running badly.

My family members all think that booking this hotel is really a success. The room is quite spacious and beyond expectations. There is a separate dressing room. The kitchen and bathroom are all white and very clean. The common kitchen utensils are complete. It is very pleasant to cook simple meals and enjoy the sunshine breakfast. A large supermarket is just a few blocks away. It is indeed only a dozen minutes' walk to the Lincoln Memorial. I like Washington very much. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The hotel is not your typical dimension but it was clean and the mattress + pillows are one of the best I have slept on. The location was good as it was close to Metro, White House, Lincoln memorial, and Georgetown (walking around 20 mins). There is also a Metro station close by. However, itâs far away from the convention center though, you will need to take a taxi or Uber to get there.
The one suggestion I have is to provide kettle for hot water in the room as well as bottle waters. Most of the reception reps are very helpful and cheerful, only the grave yard shift reception lady is not in a good mood (I know itâs grave yard shiftâŚbut). The elevator needs some improvement as well since itâs very slow⌠(Iâm not sure itâs because of the elevator manufacturer or because of the old building).

Was given a room on the first floor when I first checked in. Removed the linens and checked the bed and there was evidence of a previous bedbug infestation (dried blood around the mattress especially the corners). Asked if they had had a problem and was told a couple years ago. Was given a new room and checked and everything was clean. The price & location was great. Staff was courteous but the cleanliness iffy. Will not be staying there again. If you decide to stay here, check the beds and area

I just came to Washington from New York and was amazed by this hotel!
The hotel is in a good location, just a 16-minute walk from the train station. The hotel is very new and the room is large. You can see that the decoration inside is very new. There are several clothes hanging designs on the wall, which are convenient, beautiful and practical. I like it very much.
There are also ice cubes and drinking water on the floor, and the price is half of that in New York. The cost performance is too high!

AAnonymous UserI feel safe at the hotel location. Short walk to metro station, and walking distance to Capitol building, the close by grocery store has good selection and good price. Nearby not many restaurant choices. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
YYANGOne of the most satisfied hotels in the US itinerary, the large living room is very convenient for simple food, the environment is very comfortable, the morning is simple, but more convenient, the hotel has free afternoon tea on the first day of stay, one big burger per person like.
JJunesdaughterWe chose the Hilton because of its location at DuPont Circle and proximity to the metro. It was perfect. Very clean and excellent service. We had a corner room with large windows and a nice view. We werenât able to check in early and still have our chosen room but we left our luggage with the bell captain, parked and went off to explore on foot for awhile, taking the advice from a helpful front desk clerk for a nice place for lunch close by. Everything was close by. It worked out perfectly. The price of the hotel was excellent too which offset the cost of parking ($56/day) in the garage below where the car stayed for the whole trip. It was very easy to park and get back inside. The restaurants looked lovely but we didnât eat there. There were just too many local choices and we were out walking most of the day. The bell captain was helpful in getting us a cab one cold evening when my Uber app was be working well. He went outside in the cold until he was able to hail one for us (comparable in price to the Uber we wouldâve taken) Lovely stay. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite.
It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.
GGuest UserI traveled to DC with my preteen and teenage sons for a basketball game. The property didnât receive my reservation (booked through 3rd party) but the front desk staff took the time to make it right and get us set up. They had excellent customer service throughout our stay.
This hotel was VERY clean. I was actually surprised because I use to stay here frequently about 10 years ago and expected some things to run down a bit. It turns out that the hotel is very modernized and looks just as good now as it did a decade ago.
The location is perfect as itâs right in the middle of the NoMa neighborhood and it is right next to the NoMa/Gaulludet (Red Line) Metro station. There are a few small shops across the street and a 7 Eleven next door if you are looking for a quick bite.
The room itself was comfortable. My youngest son and I slept soundly on the queen sized bed and my oldest slept on the couch. He was pretty comfortable without even folding the couch down.
Overall, I will definitely book here again as I frequently visit DC. Fo how inexpensive this hotel is, the quality was phenomenal. I canât wait to go back.
GGuest UserThe first room had a very noisy fan. I was moved to another room which was much quieter. I noticed that there were several small issues with the room and relayed them to the front desk, where a manager (Keith) overheard me and said he would look into it. Nothing happened to correct it during the entire stay, not a note to say how or if it would be corrected. The issue was a ring of paint or epoxy in the bathtub, something that should have been cleaned up at the time of painting.
The second issue was the very poor arrangement of lighting in the room. Lamps were confined to small areas, there was no overhead light and the bathroom was either overlit or underlit, while the closet area was dark unless it was daylight. Afterwards I noticed that there large holes in the sheer curtains in the room. Not tragic, but not in keeping with the tenor and tone of a Marriott Bonvoy.
In the lobby there was only an ADA service elevator to go from the street to the lobby level. It was self operated, no instructions, no indication lights on either level and a bit noisy.
GGuest Userfirst off, i booked a king room but was given 2 queen beds instead, they said you donât always get that when you book through a 3rd party because they do not know what rooms are actually available, second, i requested that my room be cleaned everyday that i stayed, but was not, i had to go downstairs to ask for new towels 2 nights in a row, on the 3rd night i finally asked the front desk and they showed me a small sign that said they do not clean until your 4th day of stay, they can do a quick refresh if you ask before 9pm the night before, lastly, i was charged $41.73 on top of what i paid to Trip.com, i called to ask about it a few days after my trip when i saw it on my credit card, they said it was an amenities charge for each of the days i stayed, whaat? the only amenity i used was the elevator, never have i ever been charged for anything other than the price of the hotel, needless to say i will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to anyone
BBattleIvy City Hotel was very clean. Its right on a busy main road, but it is easily assessable, if that makes any sense. The room smelled like **** (its legal), but was easily covered up by a lit candle. It easy very calm all throughout the day/night , especially for DC and the characters that come and go. All in all, its a good place to lay your head when you stay.
