Historical building， very impressive! Great staffs!

The hotel is amazing! Spacious and nicely located with long term history.

 1. 관광하기에 좋은 지리적 위치라 구경 중에 지칠 때면 잠깐 들어와 쉬다가 다시 나가곤 했습니다. 2. 에어컨 냉방/난방 정상적으로 잘 작동했고, 침구류도 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 3. 세면대와 욕실, 화장실이 각각 분리되어있는 구조인데 딱히 불편한 점은 없지만 욕조가 없는 게 아쉬웠습니다. 4. 욕실의 샤워헤드는 상단 고정이어서 자유자재로 움직일 수 없어서 이 부분이 불편했습니다. 5. 대형 TV와 냉장고, 다리미 등이 있었습니다. 6. 뷰는 바로 앞에 멋있는 건축물이 있어서 그런지 만족했었습니다. 7. 하지만 이 호텔의 진짜배기는 루프탑 라운지입니다. 루프탑에서 보는 야경은 더할나위없이 최고입니다. (루프탑이 참 인기입니다. 이른 저녁부터 새벽까지 루프탑 손님들로 끊임이 없는 핫플레이스입니다) 

We had a wonderful experience with both Bret and Denise during our stay this weekend. They were attentive, accommodating, and ensured we had everything we needed for our weekend enjoying DC. They offered us free bikes to use for both days touring around the city and our hotel room was outstanding and private. We didn’t get the chance to dine at the restaurant, but very close was a ***** of restaurants and bars that we absolutely adored. We appreciated every second of our stay… highly recommend!

The charm of this renovated boutique hotel just steps off of DuPont Circle is only outmatched by the level of friends and customer service provided by the staff. You cannot ask for a more convenient location. There’s the DuPont Metro stop steps away, but we find many attractions are within a 30 minute walk. The rooms are well appointed with up-to-date furnishings and design, and glorious mattresses. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The free cocktail at 5pm isn’t bad either

Overall an average stay & when it came to checkout, disappointing. Stayed here due to the Marine Corps marathon. Check-in was easy and Derick, at the front desk, was awesome; friendly and personable. There is a 1 hour manager’s reception, 5:00-6:00 with complimentary wine. The room was clean with a couple quirks. The bed faced the window, which was neat, but the view was of a parking lot and concrete buildings. The furniture was showing its age with water marks and damaged veneer. My wife and I could not understand some of the lighting. The wall switches were random throughout the room. The switches did not operate the lights you would think. One floor stand light we had to unplug because it had no switch or on/off knob. The neighborhood is quaint with a few local bars and restaurants within walking distance. The roof top bar was said to be “must see”, but it was nothing special and there are better options in the area. We had breakfast in the restaurant where an omelette cost $18, but was very good. The evening of check-in, I asked the front desk if I could switch the credit card to be billed. I was told I could do it at checkout as they were changing the computer system overnight. The next morning, at checkout, I asked if I could switch my credit card and I was sternly told “no” because their computer system was switched overnight and it could not be done. Definitely miscommunication among the staff. And finally, the biggest disappointment was when I received my receipt. I booked the room through Travel Zoo at $169 for the night, plus hotel fee. When I looked at my receipt, I was charged $249 for the night plus hotel fee. I immediately brought this to the gentleman’s attention checking us out. He made an excuse or two and fixed the price after I showed him my reservation and he waived the hotel fee due to this. This wasn’t a smooth process and checkout took approximately 20 minutes. I believe there is a reason this hotel is ranked in the bottom 1/3 of Washington DC hotels. Net time, I’ll stay somewhere else.

This was a great introduction to DC. The older building made for a unique layout in the room itself; I also appreciated the miniature espresso machine, which yielded extremely high-quality coffee.

Top shelf. Every Jefferson employee is courteous and professional, from folks at the door, to receptionists, to housekeeping. I have been fortunate as my job requires that I travel extensively around the world. The Jefferson is my favorite venue. As stated, the people are A+. The dining services are excellent. The Quill’s reputation is well deserved. Take some time to have coffee with Susan Loggans on Saturdays. Susan is a Jefferson scholar, always informative, and simply delightful.

Check in was great, as I was able to get a room before the designated check in time, because my flight arrived early in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of towels. The hotel is also walking distance from many shops and restaurants in DuPont Circle, which made it a great location to be in. I’d definitely return to this hotel whenever I come back to DC!

優點當然是位置好，體力允許的話去主要景點完全可以走着去。 房間也足夠大，訂的是大雙床加沙發床的套房，一家四口住着沒問題。還有廚具可以做飯（當然正經做飯也不現實，煮了兩次方便麪做夜宵）。 早飯，最好早點下去，這家店生意挺好，住的這幾天早飯全都要排隊。至於早飯品質……美式簡餐，就那麼幾樣，但是量和熱量都管夠。口味，對亞洲胃當然是不友好的。 剛去就壞了一部電梯，那個電梯等的……後來就直接走樓梯了鍛鍊身體了，還好樓層不高。 最**是停車，一晚上五十多美元，還衹有代泊車，早上取車還要給小費。其實馬上對面好多停車場，一晚上30多吧，可以停到對面去。但是，一定要注意，停車場都是有營業時間的，不要停到週末不營業的停車場。他們不營業時就會落下卷閘門，也沒有工作人員，那你週五停進去就衹有等到週一人家上班才能拿到車了（不要問我為什麼知道）。那週末怎麼辦？看路邊停車標誌牌，上面會寫允許停車時間或者不允許停車時間，在美國“法無禁止皆可為”，説直白點，週末路邊基本免費停車……這個也不展開了，説多也是淚。直到走的那天才弄明白，我週末每小時2.3美元可是付了不少……
