I stayed at Hotel Luminor Kota for a week and did not want to leave!!!! I have many dietary restrictions and Fatah went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of at every meal. Not only was the service exceptional but the food was out of this world!! Kezia and Anto were also so sweet and made me feel at home. This hotel has everything you could ever want from incredible food, daily housekeeping, hot and cold drinkable water, comfy bed, and the most amazing staff. I cannot remember the last time I received customer service like this. I am already counting down the days until I can come back! Thank you to the incredibly hard working staff at Luminor Hotel Kota!

I stayed in a single private ensuite as a solo traveler in January 2023. The room is simple and basic, but has air conditioning. A small blanket and towel are included, as is shower gel. The room lighting is a harsh white fluorescent light (which looks a bit different than the pictures on the website). I wish there was a small reading lamp with warm lighting instead. There are also no true windows in the room, and so it can feel a bit claustrophobic or trapped. The second floor has a nice common area with couches, TV, and bar bench with bar stools for you to do work. There is also a small gym with a few free weights, bench for bench presses, a rowing machine, and wall-mounted bars for pull-ups and dips. The hostel offers coffee and tea. I did not try the tea, and so I can't comment on it. The coffee is instant coffee. If you don't like instant coffee, then there is a Starbucks just a few minutes walk away. When I stayed there, there weren't many other tourists, and so it kind of defeated the purpose of staying in a hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful at all hours. The location of this hostel in Chinatown is excellent. There are tons of small mom and pop restaurants serving up delicious Chinese-Indonesian foods for less than 50,000 IDR. It is also a few minutes walk from the Glodok Transjarkta bus station, making it easy for you to travel around Jakarta. Overall I would recommend this hostel for its value and location.

Saya menghabiskan 2 malam di hotel ini. Bagus, bersih, sangat bagus dan terletak di pusat bandar, berhampiran dengan kota lama Jakarta. Bilik besar yang bagus, bilik mandi bersih dan gaun mandi. Hotel ini terletak hampir di jalan utama, berdekatan. Di jalan utama terdapat beberapa restoran yang bagus. Kelab malam hotel mempunyai suasana yang menarik. Kami mengalami beberapa saat buruk semasa pembayaran. Kakitangan malam tidak diberitahu mengenai peraturan pembayaran kami. Oleh itu, kami mengadakan perbincangan malam yang tidak menyenangkan dan kakitangan ditekan untuk memanggil pengarah hotel (3.00 pagi) kami juga mendapat pengalaman buruk daripada kakitangan penjualan. Kami meminta beberapa nasihat mengenai pemandangan dari Bandar Lama Jakarta. Kami tinggal di sini untuk kali pertama, dan kami tidak mengetahui jarak pangkalannya. Jarak ke bandar lama sekitar 400 meter, dan mereka menasihati kami untuk menggunakan teksi hotel, yang sangat mahal. Sekarang saya tahu tempatnya dengan lebih baik, jadi saya boleh kembali ke hotel yang sama tanpa masalah - saya akan tetap dengannya

2 times at here, and there is always great, the hotel was really good. the hotel clean, fast check in and the room was comfortable, and breakfast have many variety in wetern, indonesian and chinese (the dimsum is very delicious) friendly and honest staff, central located, minor things are the bulding is old. Anyway its nice experience in the hotel, good job Mercure Kota !
