Orchard Park Inn

Our reservation was apparently cancelled without us knowing. when we called to let the hotel know we would check in late (several hours b4 check in) we were informed no one could stay there due to weather. Which is undertandable, but to not be informed until I CALLED after a 5 hrs drive seems incredibly unprofessional.

This is an older very large property close to Highmark Stadium with many places to eat and Strikers Lanes bowling close by. It was warm with a good shower and very quiet. It can be an economical option for one night depending on the date.

My room was exactly what I expected. No more, no less. It was clean, functional and close to highmark stadium. (I went to the bills game the day I stayed at the Orchard Park inn.) It was a six min walk from a nice sports bar as well.

The property is very old. Renovations need to be done. The price asked was around 110$USD while I believe the max price should ve been 45$. TV did not work, shower knob was not working. Door lock was barely working and the lack or air circulation made the air humid and smelly. WiFi was non existent from our room. We went there for the Bills game.

I never stayed at a property in such poor condition. We were tempted to leave or sleep in the car.

Of all things you need in a motel or hotel is a good bed. It was like two boxsprings stacked on top of one another it’s ******.

They need some serious cosmetic repairs but all in all good stay

The man working was kind & polite. The room was furnished, the water was a dark yellow in color when it came out of the faucet. The door to the room was not sealed. The windows of the room had not been washed in a very long time. The curtains had moth holes in them. We did not feel safe at all. We returned the key and went to another hotel. We would like a refund. We were in the area for the funeral of my husbands mom.

This place should be condemned, or at the very least shut down by the health depar**ent. I left twenty minutes after check in because the room was so filthy, fire alarm was beeping because the battery was dead, heat/AC was inoperable, and there were dead bugs and old cigarette butts on the filthy carpet. The bathtub facet was just a pipe sticking out of the wall. Mold and spider webs all over the place and moth cocoons in the curtains. There was an aggressive pit bull in the hotel lobby that was the property managers. There’s also a partially collapsed shed in the parking lot that could really injure someone. I made an official complaint to the health depar**ent but I hope ******* just takes this place off their website.
