Service was good staff very friendly, unfortunately we were not made aware of the food deal , when I asked a member of staff I was informed that there was a poster with the information, unfortunately this poster was on the right hand side of the wall where you open the door to the accommodation which when the door is open you cannot see the poster.

Just wanted to thank Sarah who was on reception when myself and my two children were checking in. She was super helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She also made my kids day by giving them bubbles and sweets which was a lovely touch.

The building does look a bit drab from the outside but the rooms were clean and up to the premier inn standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a nice touch was a children’s book swap raising money for Great Ormond Street hospital at reception. The pub had closed to outside guests so only open to those staying at the Premier Inn which actually made it a much nicer place to eat with small children and then there was space for them to run about in the old pub garden without disturbing anyone which was a bit of a luxury.

We had a accessible room as my husband disabled the room it's self was really dusty n not clean which was a disappointment. The reception staff in the hotel was fabulous couldn't do enough for us and the staff in the pub next door where we had our dinner and breakfast food was lovely

Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, we had no spare pillows and couldn't find anyone to request these. The room was also boiling hot, too uncomfortable to sleep which was very needed before a long drive. The staff we did meet were lovely (check in and restaurant) but the food was dismal. We paid £20 for breakfast and had a drink.

Everything was excellent with the Premier Inn experience bar the policy of wanting ti charge me £10 as check in was 3pm and it was 130pm and room was ready, scandalous PI!

This isn’t a terrible Premier Inn, it’s a standard hotel just out of Wigan. My only gripe, which was a big thing for us, is the bar closing on a Friday night at 9.45. We were watching Wigan play rugby & this hotel is a poor choice for sports fans. The bar will be closed when you get back. Not recommended

This was a really good hotel, which rates higher than many of the premier inns I’ve stayed in. A really friendly welcome, with lots of easy parking. My room was modern and smart, with a shower, rather than bath. I preferred this to the usual arrangement. A comfy bed, as always and the room smelled very clean. I also had a nice armchair. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. The only thing is no aircon, which could be hot in summer, however the windows do open. A really good experience!
