Typical Travelodge cheap and cheerful £80 for 2 nights, The appeal of this travelodge is it's location, you are right at the beginning of the High street of the city and directly opposite the Cathederal, which is definitely worth a visit. Worcester is ideal for people with mobility problems, as it is quite flat, there is a great choice of bars and restaurants. The room was quite comfortable and the beds were ok. Plenty of free tea and coffee making materials. Shower was very good, the view was not so good looked out onto a multi story car park. Didn't try the restaurant there but quite reasonably priced. £14.99 for an evening meal deal and £9.99 for unlimited breakfast. The receptionist was helpful and supplied an extra towel for the shower which even without soap applied was very slippery. They don't supply shower anti slip mats, apparently for hygene reasons. Within a few metres of the hotel there are a lot of Italian restaurants, also 5 guys and a Starbucks, so all in all good value for money

We were lucky enough to park outside the hotel in the cricket club car park as they were out of season. We had no problem checking in on arrival and the room was lovely and clean with a beautiful view of the river opposite. The evening meals were excellent and so was the service of all staff members. The beds were really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The only let down was the cooked breakfast the following morning as it wasn't very warm and tasted a bit bland.. however the continental breakfast was fairly good. I choose this hotel for it's location, but overall our experience was really good and we'd definitely return.
