My partner and I visited the city for 3 nights and the apartment exceeded our expectations. We booked a river view that overlooked the university (apartment 8) and would highly recommend. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who guided us to our apartment in a separate building across a small bridge. There were secure fob accessed buildings, stunning lobby and lift area, with some striking artwork. When entering the apartment I was amazed - the apartments are spacious with views of the river all around. The university is lit at night until 10pm. The kitchen amenities were high quality & new. Coffee, tea and water were refreshed everyday. The bedroom overlooked the river and trams in front of the university. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend taking ear plugs as you can hear the trams and traffic unfortunately, but appreciate this is unavoidable. Upon checkout everything was simple and the receptionist gifted us some chocolates before wishing us a safe trip. I would 100% recommend this stay and hope to return one day.

After a somewhat disastrous stay at another hotel, I quickly booked two deluxe rooms for my parents and myself at Hotel Monopol to save our Christmas Market experience in Wroclaw. The moment we walked into the hotel we were immediately put at ease. What a gorgeous hotel. Fantastic service and the perfect location to walk to the Christmas market and shops. The deluxe rooms were incredibly spacious and modern. The bathrooms are open plan, so make sure you’re comfortable with your roommate if you have one. The bed was luxurious and the bath products were top notch as well. Breakfast was great along with the bar on the ground floor. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely. We would happily return.

Die Lage ist super. Es liegt direkt neben einer großen Shopping-Mall und 5-10 min. fußläufig entfernt von der historischen Altstadt. Die Einrichtung des Appartements ist modern und geschmackvoll. Bei der Buchung erhielt man zuerst Email mit 13 Punkten, allerdings nur auf Polnisch, nichts in Englisch. Dies finde ich bei internationalen Gästen schwierig, der Google Übersetzer konnte jedoch helfen. Die Rezeption ist schwer zu finden, im 3. Stock zwischen Bürozimmern. Dort ist es weder sauber, noch ordentlich. Es türmen sich Tüten voller Wäsche. Es macht überhaupt keinen professionellen Eindruck. Das Zimmer 537 wurde als Appartement verkauft, jedoch empfand ich dies nicht als 32qm groß, sondern viel kleiner. Es gab noch eine Mini-Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, Heizplatten, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler. Im Bad gab es einen Föhn (nur mit einem lauen Lüftchen) und eine Waschmaschine, jedoch nirgends keine Möglichkeit die Wäsche zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Der Kosmetikspiegel im Bad war nicht mehr vorhanden. Dusche lief komplett aus bis in den Flur. Dies scheint öfter zu passieren, denn die Fußleisten waren bereits aufgequollen. Die Lüftung im Bad funktionierte auch nicht (mehr). Es gab lediglich zwei Handtücher zum Duschen, aber keine kleinen für die Hände und auch nichts für die Füße vor der Dusche. Kosmetikprodukte gab es gar nicht. Ich empfand die Einrichtung als teils abgewohnt und es war auch nicht alles sauber. In den Fluren des 5. Stockwerkes roch es eigenartig, etwas muffig und irgendwie chemisch. Achtung: Das Gebäude liegt an der gefühlt am meisten befahrenen Straße von Breslau, jeweils 3-4 spurig und Straßenbahn, es ist eine wahnsinnige Lautstärke, auch nachts. Nachts hört man oftmals röhrende Auspuffe und quietschende Reifen. Auch die Partys aus dem übernächsten Zimmer sind zu hören. Ein Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage für 45 PLN pro Tag wurde uns trotz vorheriger Reservierung per Email nicht reserviert und war am Anreisetag auch nicht verfügbar. Wir mussten daher im öffentlichen Bereich der Tiefgarage für 100 PLN pro Tag parken. Die Differenz von 55 PLN würde ich OVO Appartements gern in Rechnung stellen. Die Reservierung hat die Rezeption erst für den Folgetag hinterlegt, da sie aber erst ab 13 Uhr besetzt ist, konnten wir vorher auch keine Parkkarte erhalten, also vorher auch nicht umparken. Das Frühstück gab es im Café etno nebenan bzw. im gleichen Gebäude, es gehört aber nicht zur Unterkunft, d. h. dort ist normaler Publikumsverkehr und das Frühstück wurde hier von der Unterkunft für die Gäste gebucht. Man konnte auswählen bei Bagel / belegtes Brötchen oder Rührei, Kaffee/Tee, Saft und Croissant. Das Café Etno ist toll, aber es ist ungewohnt, dass man kein Frühstücksrestaurant mit Buffet usw. hat. Obwohl es im gleichen Gebäudekomplex ein „OVO bar & restaurant“ gibt, welches zum Namen der Appartements passt. Fazit: Für knapp 100€/Nacht fand ich dieses „Apartment“ bei der Größe bzw. diesem geringen Service vollkommen überteue

Be careful! Illegal drone operations!! The company has been known for a year and is deliberately not mentioned! The negative rating applies to the rental company MOON SUITE 29/9!! There isn't much to say about the room, except that it is right next to the elevator machine room and can be quite noisy due to the elevators. But I can write something about the unfriendly and arrogant staff and the problems we had. We were there on Saturday, March 23. In the moon suite in the jacuzzi and we enjoyed the view. Until around 10 p.m., when we suddenly noticed that a drone was filming us and we couldn't get out of the water for 20 minutes. After this embarrassing situation, we managed to get out of the water and completely lowered the shutters so that we couldn't enjoy the view at all. The next day, we and the other injured players faced the team. She could only laugh dirty and sometimes ignored us, we had to raise our voices. However, this company was not interested at all. And from the conversation with the porter at the reception, it turns out that the problem has been known for over a year. We booked the room just for the bathtub and the view. I couldn't enjoy anything. No refund or anything like that. The company should be ashamed of itself. There is no evidence of such illegal drone activity. No notice in the room, no notice on the website. It is simply absolutely contrary to human dignity and absolutely impossible. We are dealing with a deliberate violation of privacy!! Over 1 year! how many victims there will be! You just have to see where the Drona will land again! audacity!! Never again

Just returned from a two night stay here with my grandson. Firstly this is not a top notch luxury hotel, it could be but needs some money spent on it. However if your not going to be spending too much time there and want a base in a top location then this will do. The location could not be better, right on the edge of everything in a quiet street with a convenience store next door. The reception always had someone working and they were pleasant and speedy, there is a lift, we were on the fourth floor so it was needed. The rooms were clean but drab with a shower and a small tv that you could get bbc news on. Breakfast was fine, everything was provided although another coffee machine would be good. As originally stated the hotel does need some money spending on it but then the price would increase so I would give it a thumbs up, value for money in a fantastic location and would recommend.

We stayed at the Art hotel for 2 nights. We were on the top floor and the A/C was not working on this floor, which was unfortunate because we stayed during the summer heatwave. Based on what the receptionist said and other reviewers, it is a known issue of the hotel. They said someone could bring us a fan, but they did not come (at least whilst we were still in the room). Our room was quite dated, on the reviewer photos it looks like some have been modernized, but this wasn’t the case for ours. We enjoyed the nespresso machine and the pillow selection. We were offered a 15% discount or free breakfast for the A/C issue, which we accepted (thank you), but overall our stay was less comfortable than we had hoped. I would not rely on this hotel if you would like to come back to a cool room with A/C in summer months.

Spent my birthday in Wroclaw and after staying here previously I knew Puro was the hotel to choose.All the staff are so friendly,helpful and efficient. Whatever time I went for breakfast there was always plenty of choice and the tables were cleared quickly so there was always somewhere to sit. Hotel room spacious enough and very clean. So easy to get to the Rynek and close to tram stops and lovely place to sit and people watch behind the hotel.Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is located just outside of the old town and can be reached by taking the airport bus to the centre and then a single tram out. It's located close to the river and many of the rooms have a river view. You are also close to the Tumski bridge, cathedral island and the illusion museum as well as on a direct tram line to the zoo and concert hall. Staff were friendly and check-in and check-out was fast and simple. Its function room and restaurant are clearly popular with weddings and other such events so don't be surprised if there are lots of people about. There are two versions of rooms - those that have been refurbished (like the initial photos) and those that have not and retain the original decor from when the hotel was built about 25 years ago. It is a big hotel so renovation is clearly going to take some time so you are more likely to get one of these rooms. They are clean and well maintained but dated (look through the room photos and you will see). Reasonably priced though and minibars in rooms with sensible prices i.e. not the corner shop but not rip-off either.
