I chose this one because it's a standalone building with floor-to-ceiling windows and a modern, bright decor; I'm not a fan of hotels located within shared buildings. After checking in, I was indeed satisfied. The room was quite spacious, and the shower area was especially clean—one of the few I'd willingly walk into barefoot, which I really appreciate. However, problems arose at night. Firstly, I chose this hotel partly because it wasn't newly opened (it's been around for two years), but when I lay in bed, there was a strong, distinct smell of renovation, which I suspect came from the bedside cabinet. Secondly, it was noisy. The surrounding environment was loud, and the windows weren't soundproof. In the morning, I heard several loud 'rumble-rumble' sounds, like steel from a construction site. On top of that, there was noise from the hotel itself. I was woken up past 1 AM by the distinct sound of water being used upstairs, first by one person, then another—'whoosh-whoosh-whoosh.' My husband and I couldn't believe how loud it was. Overall, I didn't get a good night's sleep.
