Brand new hotel, perfect bed, furniture very nice. A bottle of water, a coke and apple juice was in the minibar for free. However, 2km outside the stadt, but I knew that. Parking lot in front of the hotel. The breakfast was ok, it was a corona breakfast though, meaning you had to wait for the food at the table. Unfortunatelly the waiters were somehow not seeing us (stressed?) so we had to ask two or three times for everything.

What a great little hotel! I stayed here for 5 nights in October. My room was good for a single person. It might be a tighter fit for 2. My room was tiny. The bed was quite comfortable, considering others I've slept on in Germany. The pillows were pretty good. a full length mirror, a TV, and a wire rack to hang clothes. I was OK with it because I didn't want to hang out in my room. No coffee maker, no refrigerator. My room was very quiet. The bathroom is one of those that has a shower in the corner. Not a separate shower. The floor gets wet no matter how you hard you try. The curtain just isn't big enough. Another annoyance. The bathroom light was on automatic, so if you rose in the middle of the night to use it (jet lag anyone)? the light turns on automatically super bright, like those at a football stadium. It's hard to resume sleep after that. Breakfast was included and it was a pretty good selection. The usual Euro fare, meats, cheese, etc. lots of bread, eggs, bacon, and a wide selection of cereals. There is a bar there, though small and they will cook a decent burger or quick food upon request. The Hotel is very new and clean. A younger crowd stays there, but it's not uncomfortable if you're older. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. They spoke English well and I heard other languages also. It is within walking distance of the Old Town although its a longer walk so be prepared. Lots of restaurants and other things to do and see are also within walking distance. Wurzburg is a beautiful city and you could do a lot worse than the Moxy.

Uns hat es gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer in 7. Etage hatte guten Blick auf die Marienfestung. Altstadt sehr gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Auto durfte sicher für 12Euro pro Tag in der Parkgarage stehen. Fast alle MA an Rezeption, alle vom Zimmer- und Frühstücks- Service auffällig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatten ein 2- Bett- Zimmer gebucht, dann ein Doppelbett- Zimmer erhalten. Enttäuscht hat uns das inzwischen geschlossene Fitness- und Wellness- Areal. Wirklich schade und irreführend, dass in den Portalen z.T. in Bild und Schrift damit geworben wird.

I had read good reviews when we booked a stay in this hotel to visit Würzburg. When we arrived we had a bad experience during check-in where the receptionist asked me to fill a piece of paper with personal details. While I was filling out the form, he let another guy do the same. No problem, I’m perfectly fine with this. As I had finished filling out the papers, for some reason he asked me to wait until the other guy had finished his papers so that he could finish his check-in. Quite strange and not a very good service as both he and I knew I arrived at the front desk first. After this we asked where to park. Parking at their facility coat an additionally EUR 24 per day. The rooms are nice, not interesting at all but comfortable. As standard as a hotel room gets. The breakfast buffet is very good and is recommended if you stay here. The bar is tiny. The receptionist seems run by a staff that seems more like students than real hotel receptionist and it is lacking a bit of professionalism in my opinion. All in all not a bad hotel but I would have expected a lot more co spidering that the hotel is in the higher end of the normal price range. I was disappointed for the price paid.

unprofessionell. Wir waren mit Kleinkind (inklusive Kinderwagen) in einem der letzten Zimmer im 2. Stock untergebracht. Das Hotel ist nicht barrierefrei und der Aufzug sehr klein und langsam. Es dauerte also teilweise eine ganze Zeit, bis man in den Aufzug einsteigen konnte. Das Zimmer war dann mit Babybett und Kinderwagen sehr beengt. Außerdem war es in der Sommerhitze extrem stickig. Das Treppenhauslicht vom Nachbarhaus schien die ganze Nacht in das Zimmer. Somit musste man die Schotten dicht machen, was auch kein Lüftchen mehr durch lies. Das Zimmer und auch das Bad könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Im Bad lagen leider noch einige Haare vom Vorgänger. Es gibt Seife und Duschgel sowie Handtücher. Die Gänge sind extrem klein und eng. Wir hätten uns gewunschen, dass wenn es schon angekündigt wird das ein Kleinkind dabei ist, dass dann auch der Weg zum Zimmer mit Kinderwagen ohne Großes rangieren machbar ist. Der Service am Empfang war ok. Der Herr rauchte bei unserer Ankunft erstmal eine und erklärte uns zwischen Tür und Angel die Parksituation. Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich. Auch hier alles sehr eng und in die Jahre gekommen. Rührei gibt es auf Anfrage. Leider gab es nur Obst aus der Dose… Fazit: Für knapp 150€ die Nacht im DZ kann man bei sovielen Zimmern auch mal eine Renovierung investieren. Wir bezahlen das nächste mal lieber ein paar Euro mehr und fühlen uns dann wohler…

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss erreichen. Parken geht in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus um die Ecke mit einem geringen Rabatt pro Tag. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfbereit, allerdings waren die Zimmer erst um 15 Uhr beziehbar. Zu den Zimmern: Es gibt keine Fahrstoch und wir waren in Zimmern im 2. Stock, die unrenoviert waren. Die Zimmer waren zwar groß und im Bad wurde schon mal was gemacht, hatten aber den Charme der 90er. Dito für die Zimmer für den Rest der Familie. Das Frühstück war ok, es gibt aber eine fertige Wurst/Käse oder Käseplatte zur Auswahl. Müsli ist sehr begrenzt und es gibt nur gekochte Eier. Dafür war die Brötchenauswahl gut. Alles in allem aber nur 3 Sterne für den Preis.

Advertized as 3-star on *********** wich is a shame since there is nothing wrong with the place aside from beeing priced along with other 3-star hotels (wich is way too high for this level of accomodation). From my understanding of the german hotel-star rating system, this can not be a 3-star rated hotel as there is no reception at all, nor any staff at site. Furthermore it seems double rooms should be at least 18m² according to the rating system, while ours was only 13m². All in all this would be a good choice if at a lower price point and not branded as a hotel.

We reached the hotel about 2H before the check in time, which is not unusual for us. Sometimes, we are offered a room immediately on arrival, or are informed that OUR room would ready by such & such time. Nothing of this sort happened at Motel One Wurzburg. The first impression that we got was that we were at a Homeless Shelter & not a modern chain Hotel where we had a confirmed Booking. The receptionist (Eduardo) kept on repeating that we do not have any room, we do not have any room. NEVER did he once said that YOUR room is not ready at this moment, but it would be by 3 pm. Even when I came back for Checking in at 3pm he was in no hurry to allot me a Room. I had never felt so INSECURE in an Hotel before. I did not even knew that whether I will ever get a room or not. The hotel has a beautifully designed lobby & lounge, and it is situated at a very central location. It could have been THE Hotel to stay in Wurzburg because of its excellent pricing, but the apparent arrogance & complete lack of empathy towards the guests makes it the most undesirable place to stay in Europe.

PPengguna TetamuBeautiful hotel with an amazing view on Würzburg. Unfortunately the amenities and service are not what you would expect for such hotel. It starts with the hotel check-in, starting officially at 15. We were refused access to the room at 14:25, not because the room was not ready but because it was not 15:00 yet. I never experienced that anywhere else, especially not in a 4 stars hotel. Since we had to wait for half an hour, we sat at the café and ordered two cocktails. The terrasse is really beautiful. But for 10€ each our drinks were mainly ice with not much to drink. The waiters were nice but most of them seem lacking experience and everything took a really long time. Upon check-in we were also told that breakfast was until 10:30 latest and that we had to be done by 11 very latest as people were coming then for the Sunday brunch. Some stuff was already installed for the brunch in the middle of the breakfast and it made us feel we had to rush. The room itself was really nice except for the TV which had the size of a laptop screen and really bad quality. At least 15 years old. There was also mold in the shower. Overall a nice place but it needs some upgrading. Also for a 4 stars hotel there should be a better attention to the client. Currently definitely not worth the price.

We traveled as a family to Wurtzburg for 2 nights. It's your typical chain hotel but there were two issues for our family. 1. The shower was a danger zone. You had to climb over the tub and there wasn't much of anything to grab onto except the towel rack. It had a partial glass door on the tub so you couldn't grab that as it moved. To add to the danger, the bathtub floor was slippery. Three members of our traveling group are seniors, but even younger me felt unsafe getting in and out. 2. If you are driving a larger car like we were and are not an experienced European driver then both the surface parkade and underground parkade are not suitable. Thankfully there was a huge parking lot just across the street and down a very short way. The breakfast was very good, they had lots of variety. The room was clean, and the location was great. For dinner, we went to the beer garden across the street and it was very good. If it wasn't for the dangerous bathtub situation, I would have given this hotel 4 stars.

PPengguna TetamuLovely location and the room was ok. Only complaint which I am posting as it was such a different experience than the normal Bavarian hospitality we know and love. Receptionists were lovely. Extremely rude waitress, practically threw a cup of hot tea at me because I dared to ask for something instead of earl grey. Spilt everywhere. Despite me apologising for confusion about ‘breakfast tea’ she made it her mission to be as nasty as possible, not just to me but to the couple we were sat there with us, we had a German speaker with us and we were guest so the hotel, but that didn’t seem to make much difference. won’t be going again. Shame.

PPengguna TetamuZimmer sehr klein und zweckmäßig, sehr sauber, tolle Matratzen, Kissen leider sehr dünn, kleines zweckmäßiges Bad, sehr sauber. Frühstück war ok, Wurst schlechte Qualität, freundliche Angestellte, hervorheben möchte ich Frau Rosenberger - bleiben sie so wie sie sind- super freundlich, äußerst hilfsbereit und den Kollegen (Namen leider vergessen, Herkunft Marokkaner sagte er) auch er sehr sehr freundlich. Kommen gerne wieder und werden das Hotel auch gerne weiterempfehlen

PPengguna TetamuThis is our go to hotel when we are travelling from the west to the south of Germany, which we do quite regularly. In the many times that we have stayed here, we have never once had a negative experience. When travelling with our children, it is the up most importance to us that our children are also welcomed and accommodated for. The staff are always friendly, there is a children’s corner provided and a big bonus is that the car park is just across the road. The location is very good, and it takes only 10 minutes to reach the city centre, even with kids dragging their feet after a long drive. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Family rooms are available. A delicious buffet breakfast (including waffle machine) is enjoyed with a fascinating view of the old harbour. Top hotel, would always recommend.

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 3 nights. Excellent location just across the street from the train station and within walking distance of all the wonderful sights of Wurzburg. Exceptionally clean everywhere, excellent bathroom with good shower and towels, comfy beds (only the pillows were rather soft for our liking). We didn’t try breakfast as there are so many nice places to eat in the town. Friendly staff. Good WiFi. Would definitely recommend.

BBetter and Easi... LFirst of all, the layout of this hotel is absolutely atrocious. The so-called ”third floor” somehow has three levels, which means if you're unlucky enough to stay on the third floor of the third floor, you have to trudge up three flights of stairs. To make matters worse, the top level is unbearably hot, leading to severe discomfort and sleep problems. As if that wasn't bad enough, at 11 PM, another guest barged into our room, claiming the reception had assigned it to him. And to top it all off, neither of the door locks work. The chain lock is mismatched and doesn’t fit, while the other lock is completely useless. This place is a complete disaster!
