Ulasan Ibis Styles Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street)

The location was superb 👌🏼. next to Huimin Street and drum tower & we managed to captured sunset from the rooftop. Free washer and dryer to use and iron at level 2

Everything is great about the hotel. I paid extra to upgrade to one with window so that it will be less stuffy. Hotel is close to hui ming jie.

Room is so clean and very tidy, including shower room. Nice staff and free drink at reception. Free laundry is also helpful. Location is best at the center near main sightseeing spots and the metro station. but was hard to find for foreigners. Internet inside the room including cellular and wifi could not connect well.

Very convenient location within the old city. City wall and local food street just a few minutes away. Helpful front desk staff.

There are multiple exits from Zhonglou station. I tried exit B，exit 9 and exit 1. All of them are similar walking distance towards the hotel. The hotel is located on the “ground” level, underground level are made up of souvenir/drinks/snacks stores which you can easily access via a short staircase. The hotel is in between a row of little local shops. The easiest way to navigate is download Baidu maps and enter 宜必思尚品酒店(西安钟鼓楼回民街店) 西安市莲湖区. A public square right under the hotel comes to life from morning to evening with people setting up little stalls with a mat/stools selling little souvenirs. There are also multiple message therapists providing their service for just 20yuan. Super convenient to reach the Drum tower just by 1mjns of walking, it is right there when you step out. Muslim quarter is 2mins away, while convenient avoid the main street like plaque. If you see roujiamo stalls with oddly long queue when everyone else is nonexistent, those are fake queuers engaged to fool tourists

Ibis Styles Hotel (Xi’an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street) is a fantastic choice for its unbeatable location—right near the Bell and Drum Tower and Huimin Street. The price is great for the value, and the staff are super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is located in the heart of Xi'an City Castle which is a transportation hub for sightseeing, and is located in the Zhonglou area, and is next to the Guluo and the entrance of the Hui Min Alley, which allows guests to view both the Zhonglou and the Guluo together. The Hui Min Alley, which is densely populated with restaurants and stores for food, is right next to it, and it is convenient to take the subway, taxi, and shuttle to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, and the distance to the nearby city wall is not far. The accommodation is clean as expected of IBIS brand, and there is enough hot water pressure of shower and friendly staff. In particular, the garden on the 5th floor has a great view.

Good location however the entrance is hard to find if you go by taxi. Provided the driver knows where to turn in. Overall it is good location.

Great experience with this hotel. It is just right beside the muslim street, so it is easy to get halal food if you are staying here. Staff tries their best to understand you although they are unable to communicate in english. Thumbs up to this wonderful hotel.

The location is superb. Just beside the bell tower, and also behind Huimin street where you find tons of local food. A few steps to the Metro station for accessibility to the whole of Xi'an. Will recommend this hotel.

The corridor is a bit intimidating like a maze and smells of cigarette but the room is fine for most of the time. Spacious and clean. Cigarette smell present now and then but not too bad, probably from the vent. (Asked for nonsmoking room). However, the staff is very helpful and kind. We use machine translator to communicate and can see that they are ready and eager to help despite the difficulty. Thank you very much.

The hotel is very well situated. Once you get your bearings, you will find many entrances and exits. We had to locate it in the wee hours of the morning and even the cabby wasn’t quite sure of the location. As the place is right behind the Muslim Quarter, you get the convenience but also all the smell of smoke. Remember to bring a room spray if that bothers you. The front desk staff are not the most helpful, but they do the minimum ☺️ there is a tour desk lady, as convenient as it is, the tours are actually what I learnt to be 拼团 where u end up joining any tour bus she can get u on. Won’t really recommend it. We only did it because the hotel recommended her 🤷🏻♀️ Remember to go up for the view!

That underpass location sounds super convenient for getting around. Zipping between metro lines 6 and 2 makes exploring the city a breeze. Friendly staff always adds to a positive experience. A good room is essential for a comfortable stay, so that's great to hear. Sounds like a winning combination for a trip!
