Hotel di Terracotta Army/Hua Qing Palace, Xi'an

Choosing this hotel for our trip was such a brilliant decision! The moment we stepped into our room, we were instantly refreshed by the clean, crisp air – absolutely no musty or smoke smells whatsoever. The ventilation and cleanliness were truly exceptional! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient throughout our entire stay, from check-in to check-out. They not only proactively helped us plan our sightseeing routes but also thoughtfully provided weather updates. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the main scenic area, which saved us a lot of travel time. Our room was spacious and comfortable, boasting panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking, unobstructed views of the scenic area. In the mornings, drawing the curtains revealed sunshine bathing the mountains, and in the evenings, we could unwind with a drink while enjoying the stunning night views. The ambiance was simply unbeatable! It's ideal for both a relaxing getaway and photography, offering fantastic opportunities for stunning shots. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch experience!

Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance. Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face. This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.

Lovely homestay managed by an amazing family. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and quiet AC. It’s just 10 minutes away from the Terra-cotta army museum, I would say if you just came to Xi’An for that then the place is perfect but if you want to go out to the city, especially in the evening it’s quite far (40 minutes journey one way).

This is a truly beautiful hotel, where every view, both within the hotel and in the rooms, is meticulously arranged and perfect for photos. The hotel is filled with sculptures and collections, feeling like a small museum. If you wake up early, you can access the Huaqing Pool scenic area at 7 AM through a dedicated passage, offering an experience as if you have the whole place to yourself. You can stroll through the ancient grounds undisturbed by other tourists, enjoying a moment of tranquility. The outdoor hot spring is incredibly comfortable, with naturally growing trees and ancient architecture as its backdrop. It was raining when I went, with temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius and the water temperature around 40 degrees Celsius, making it just right for a soak. I must commend the hotel's service. Every staff member was very friendly. When it was cold, they delivered tremella soup to our room. My mother uses a wheelchair, and whenever we encountered difficult paths, they would proactively offer assistance. They helped adjust the in-room hot spring, and when my shoes got wet, they brought a shoe dryer. The service was truly outstanding; we felt warmth and care in many aspects of our stay.

I checked into this hotel because it was close to tourist attractions. Here's my experience: 1. Location: It's close to the subway station, about a 6-7 minute walk from the alley next to it, making it quite convenient. The hotel is a renovated residential building and shares a building with another hotel. 2. Ambience: The surrounding area is bustling with markets in the morning and night markets in the evening. 3. Parking: I didn't drive here, so I wasn't sure if the hotel has a dedicated parking lot. However, the roadside is often full of cars, even on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. 5. Price: The family room was over 450 yuan per night, discounted by coupons during holidays. 6. Room Cleanliness: It was quite acceptable upon check-in. 6. Room Facilities: The hotel's facilities are relatively new, but the room isn't soundproofed. Late at night, I could hear conversations in the hallway and from the neighboring room. The shower and toilet are combined, and the washroom lacks a dry and wet area separation, leaving the bathroom quite damp even after a shower. The washbasin is small, with 90% of the area devoted to the basin. The TV in the room also couldn't connect to the internet, making it unavailable for viewing. Although the room had dedicated Wi-Fi and a smart phone, it mysteriously disconnected after one day. 7. Hotel Service: When it rained, they were able to borrow an umbrella without a deposit, and they reminded and reserved late-night porridge, which was thoughtful and commendable. However, the afternoon tea and amenity kit included in the room rate didn't include a reminder to reserve them. It might be better to replace these included services with breakfast coupons, as there are breakfast shops nearby, offering excellent value. 8. 24/7 Butler Service: They generally responded to requests, but there's no need to expect guests to follow a script for subsequent reviews. Listening to objective and honest customer feedback is also a way for hotels to continuously improve their service. Generic five-star reviews are useless and unnecessary.

There are two swimming pools, plus numerous small hot spring soaking pools, which were a real treat!♨️ Staff: The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming; every single person proactively greeted us and made us feel valued. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was truly impeccable. Even I, with my very high standards, was thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied. Ambiance: The environment is serene, secluded, and offers excellent privacy. Our private hot spring room was fantastic, featuring both a dry sauna and a wet steam sauna – a truly nice touch!🧖‍♀️ There were also both indoor and outdoor showers. The outdoor private hot spring pool was absolutely phenomenal! Service: Our butler provided incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive service. Any questions or needs regarding our children's water activities during our stay were handled promptly and efficiently. We also received complimentary coffee and welcome fruits, which was a lovely gesture. Their hospitality was truly outstanding; for instance, when we went out to watch the ”Song of Everlasting Sorrow” performance, they even helped us dispose of our takeout trash! Every single detail was meticulously taken care of, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. We will definitely be returning! We are beyond satisfied and highly recommend this place for family trips.

I was booked two big bed but in the end I have two standard bed, other than this all very good, the hotel is new and the location is good, I did not buy any breakfast but it’s convenience to find good local breakfast nearby hotel. We love the daily fresh fruit dish which free for us, and the good point of this hotel is the mineral water is free flow. When we were stay for two nights and the weather super hot, we definitely need more water and it’s free for us. The service was good and staffs are all helpful.

There are many pros and cons. Let's start with the pros. The facilities are new and clean, the rooms are spacious, and the private parking lot is convenient. The mattress is comfortable with a perfect firmness. It's quiet at night. The hotel is easy to find, near the Terracotta Warriors. Cons: 1. While charging my phone with the bedside charger, I discovered two condoms in the box. Scan the QR code to use them. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this is the second time they've included condoms. Absolutely terrible review. 2. The bathroom door opens directly onto the toilet door, and when it closes, I don't know where to put it; it's too small. 3. Today was also the first time I experienced breakfast at a hotel rated 4 diamonds by Ctrip. It was the first time I didn't eat enough at a hotel breakfast. Of the three vegetarian dishes, only one egg was left when I arrived at 8:20. The millet porridge was gone, and the mung bean soup should be called mung bean soup. Entering the cafeteria, the first thing I saw was Want Want senbei, Want Want snow cakes, and three other cookies I can't remember. Oh, and the soy milk was gone too. There was only one woman in the entire restaurant, whose main job was to yell at everyone who came in to hand over their breakfast coupons. I don't know how they got a 4.9 rating. Maybe everyone didn't eat breakfast, or maybe Xi'an is too expensive, so a 30 yuan breakfast is just the right standard. Compare that to the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at in Luoyang, which is also a four-diamond hotel and only scored 4.7. It's much better than Jifeng. I'm confused by Ctrip's rating system. The key is that Holiday Inn is cheaper than Jifeng. Maybe Jifeng isn't a chain hotel? I've never written such a long review before, so maybe I was expecting too much from a 4.9 rating.

Dreaming back to the Qin Dynasty, encountering an ideal residence next to the Terracotta Warriors During this trip to Xi'an, I encountered a treasure hotel next to the Terracotta Warriors, and I must share it with all my friends who love traveling! The hotel's location is excellent. You can see the magnificent Terracotta Warriors just a few steps away from the hotel. For tourists like me with a tight schedule, it is so friendly and saves a lot of time on the way back and forth. In the early morning, you don't have to rush, you can slowly walk to the scenic spot, and immerse yourself in the shock brought by the Terracotta Warriors before a large number of tourists arrive. When you come back from the scenic spot at night, you don't have to go to other places to find accommodation, you can go back to the hotel and rest comfortably. When you step into the hotel, the first thing that catches your eye is the unique decoration style. The overall design cleverly incorporates the cultural elements of the Qin Dynasty. The shape of the lamps imitates the palace lanterns of the Qin Dynasty, emitting a soft and simple light. The walls are hung with murals of Qin Dynasty historical stories, as if telling the magnificent history. Even the ornaments placed at the front desk are made according to the image of Qin Terracotta Warriors, which makes people instantly travel back to the Qin Dynasty more than 2,000 years ago. The details are even more attentive. The tea sets, towels and other items in the room are all printed with Qin Dynasty patterns, revealing the cultural atmosphere that echoes the surrounding attractions. Let's talk about the room. The layout is reasonable and the space is spacious. There is no sense of crampedness at all. The bedding is so comfortable that people don't want to get up once they touch the pillow. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the quilt is soft and warm. I slept very sweetly all night. The sound insulation effect of the room is also excellent. Even if there are occasional sounds of tourists passing by outside, after closing the doors and windows, the room is still very quiet, which will not affect the rest at all. The bathroom facilities are clean and tidy, the hot water supply is stable, and the water temperature is suitable. After a day of playing, take a hot bath and all the fatigue disappears. The hotel's service is even better. From the staff who checked in at the front desk to the guy who helped carry the luggage, everyone was warm and considerate. The check-in process was very fast, and they also patiently introduced me to the surrounding attractions and food. Once I accidentally left something in the room, and the staff contacted me as soon as they found it, which touched me very much. The breakfast is also very rich, with both local specialties such as Roujiamo and Hu La Tang, as well as Western-style bread and milk, which can meet the taste needs of different people. The dining environment is also very comfortable, spacious and bright. The waiter will clean up the table in time, making people feel happy when dining. There are many delicious foods around the hotel. You can find various restaurants in a few steps, including authentic Shaanxi noodle restaurants and stalls selling special snacks. The price is also relatively affordable, and the taste is even better. After eating and drinking, you can also go to the nearby small shops to buy some souvenirs to take home. This time, staying in a hotel next to the Terracotta Warriors has added a lot of color to my trip to Xi'an. If you also plan to visit the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an, you might as well consider this hotel. I believe it will not disappoint you!

Knowing how tired one's feet can get from sightseeing, they even provided a foot spa tub with herbal foot bath packets. In the afternoon, complimentary afternoon tea and pastries were available, and in the evening, late-night rice noodles were served. All these are extra value-added services, completely free of charge. This level of attentive care is truly unparalleled by other hotels. I highly recommend everyone give this place a try! 👍
