I stayed here on May 25th. The staff at front desk is really fast and helpful. The view inside the hotel, which is also restaurant for breakfast, is so nice. The food is good. Many local foods around the hotel, very convenient. Very near the airport too.

Everything about my stay at the hotel was great. I had a late arrival, so its proximity to airport was the main reason i choose it. I walked to the hotel +- 500meter and arrived there at midnight. Reception was still available, although they had a selfcheckin service (my backup plan in case my flight got delayed). I got my key within minutes (thank you) and was greeted by a big spacious clean comfortable Mondriaan themed room. Shower was great, bed was super. Although close to airport, not a sound. I had to leave early so i couldb try breakfast. Checkout was done by Carl. Very polite professional young man who not only did the checkout, but also was helpfull in explaining the best way to get to the trainstation. He even arranged a taxi, and stayed with me until it arrived to tell the driver were to bring me. During the few minutes wait i was offered drink (iced tea) and a parting gift (box of almond pastries. My stay was short but very pleasant. The hotel is full of art pieces, a cute usher robot us driving around, staff is professional... i know where to stay. Thanks again Carl (pic just before checkout)

(attached her name tag in the photo) hotel front staff are all so friendly, recommend places for me to visit and eat and drew out a map for me. newly renovated hotel, very clean! highly recommend

My friends and I enjoyed our stay! I got put in a B-Duck room and thought the decor was very cute, both in and out of the rooms (there's very chic lighting in the hall). Our rooms weren't ready when we came to check in, but the front desk was very apologetic and helpful, and everything was neat and clean when arranged. My room was spacious with plenty of amenities, and the hotel's right near the main shopping area so we had plenty to do when heading out. There's a big lobby downstairs with rentable portable chargers and refreshments, which is great for anyone not used to the heat. Only stayed for one night, but definitely would come back next time I'm in Xiamen!

Place was clean and very near zhongshanlu. The receptionist Liang was also very helpful she booked my train tickets and my ride to the station. Hopefully to comeback again to xiamen soon. Place is quiet too during the night so we had a restful sleep.

Hotel opened in Dec 2024, all amenities are brand new. Check in staff named Guyue very helpful and detail in explaining the rooms and booking process. Was given free breakfast. Self service laundry & supper provided. After checked in found room sewer smell strong, called housekeeping & they immediately sent technician to clear the pipes. Room facing Laohucheng, 630am there will be garbage truck coming hence noisy for 10 min. Network coverage very bad, difficult to load pages when using apps.

Right from the check-in, we were so impressed with the professional and friendly service provided by all the hotel employees. Their service is prompt and attentive. The lady manager was exceptionally personal and caring. We damaged a part of the tea set and she was more concerned that we were not injured by the broken parts. She also reminded us to dress warm for the winter weather. Our hotel suite is a cheerful and vibrant palette of bright colours and comes with modern technology. The suite is so new and super clean ! Our window looks over to the Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street - so convenient !! The hotel buffet breakfast is super delicious and the dining room is spacious and classy. This place is exquisite! The service, the people and the environment was exceptional. Justin and his colleagues made sure we were taken care of, even booking our spa day for us because we don't speak Chinese. Sometimes things are harder to navigate when you don't speak the language but they made sure we were always taken care of. Thank you all for making Xiamen an amazing experience for us. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

DDavis LimUpon check in, Manager Andy was at the reception and offered an upgrade when he saw that I was with my eighty years old mother and children. He was amazingly polite and I truly appreciated his effort to make our stay as comfortable as can be. The hotel is amongst the best in the region and I was given a room with sea view. Highly recommend this hotel to those who love a great view and impeccable service.

AAdamHad a wonderful stay with my small family at Xiamen Swiss Grand. The check in was very quick and the receptionist was so kind and tried to use English with us even though we can speak Chinese 😍. All their staff were so professional starting from the hotel car boy till the Ayi. Hygiene is so great. Room was very spacious with fantastic sea view. Not to forget the mouthwatering breakfast: OMG so many varieties especially western, we enjoyed the pastries most. All amenities are available here even kids can enjoy 3 hours playing for free, Yuna is the responsibile there and provided great service for the kids. Late checkout too without any disturbance to hurry up like some other hotels do. Price is affordable: you get what you pay for. It's recommended. Thank you Swiss Grand

One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day. I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay. Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room. Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

PPengguna TetamuThe staff was really nice, they provide a fan and mosquito repellent incense, because the AC in the room was very bad, it was so hot, and has lots of mosquitos. The carpet in the hallway was so thick that I almost couldn’t carry my suitcase. And the room and hallways wasn’t very clean. It was the cheapest room so I guess is what you get… the people were really nice though!

PPengguna TetamuFirst of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

PPengguna Tetamu金沙灣，在這次旅途中給了我們家一般的温暖☀🌼 帶娃出行感謝酒店營銷部盛總給升級了海景房，打開窗就是大海，幸福感滿滿，客房部送來歡迎水果看到我們有小朋友，特地給我們加了小床，送了小童拖鞋和挖沙玩具，感謝客房部霍經理和所有的服務人員，温馨周到的服務！必須要贊一下酒店的環境，房間乾淨整潔，走兩步就到沙灘和環島路，晚上的夜景也很美，早上因為天氣原因沒有看到日出，但是也感受到了晨曦之海，吃過早飯還可以去感受一下親子環島路騎行，很贊！如果下次還來廈門，金沙灣首選，因為值得奔赴！

NNikki Manjit KaurExcellent choice of hotel. Great location. The busy Zhongshan street is just an exit from the hotel. Lots of good eateries, clothing, shoes and titbits. 10 mins away from Xiamen railway station so very convenient. Rooms are very large and spacious. Very clean too. The hotel interior could do with an update but it’s ok otherwise. Breakfast is simple. Has the necessary stations but service is rather slow. Friendly though. Staff not all can speak English. Overall, still happy to stay here and would definitely come back again if I’m in Xiamen.

PPengguna TetamuReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier? Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish. I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view. Room was clean and nice. Slippers given. Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them. The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider. The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night. Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants. The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently. Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
