Hotel berhampiran Hong Kong Plaza, Xiamen

I originally booked just one night for a room with 'no window'. Upon arrival, they gave me a room with a small window but with a wonderful view outside. So I immediately extended my stay to 3 nights. A soaring office tower nearby put on a fantastic lights show every night. The room was very clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities included. Lots of local buses and BRT buses right around the corner with many fascinating shops & eateries. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. I'd like to give my thanks to two particular staff, Ms. Chen Mei 陈梅 & Ms. Lisa Lee Xia 李霞. They both went above and beyond during my stay to help me with many things, from purchasing Gulangyu ferry ticket, to helping me to set up my Alipay, WeChat, and other mundane things that normally would make any new visitor from outside of China crazy upon arrival. They both were very sweet, courteous, professional and efficient. They made my stay in Xiamen very enjoyable and easy to maneuver. The other male staff are also very friendly. Lastly, did I say Echeng Hotel has a robot server? I saw it one night delivering dinner from the ground floor to a room on the 6th floor and then returned to the ground floor lobby by itself. Very cool!

因為太美，所以不同時間段都拍了照片，有清晨，有日暮。這座老建築的韻味要住進來才能知道。 有一個超級大陽台，老式的門和窗户，能感受到民國時期人們生活中的瑣碎，整個環境還原度極高，就像是穿越到了過去一樣。 打開陽台的門就能看到老街道，煙火氣撲面而來，白天躺在床上能耳聽鄰居生活的聲音，像極了催眠的白噪音。晚上又出奇的安靜，像是整個建築都沉睡了一樣，幻想着從民國十六年在這棟別墅裏發生過的事情，有多少歷史的沉澱。 好多傢俱也都是來自民國，有厚重的歲月的痕跡，設計精妙，是現代傢俱詮釋不出的魅力。 前台小哥熱情又周到，衞生很不錯，床墊、枕頭都很好睡。 樓下的小院又有另外一番風景。咖啡、茶、酒都很不錯，就是單獨另開飲品店也不過如此了。 交通便利，去哪裡都很近。百米內就有很多當地美食好店。 住在這裏像是融入了當地的生活。 不虛此行。

This hotel was perfect, great location, near pedestrian Street, with so many shops and local restaurants, everything in this hotel was very clean, with having professional, happy, and caring staff, specially Xiao Lin and his manager, they went out of their way to make sure guests are happy. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers going to Xiamen.

Only strategic because of his location, but hotel is dirty and toilet stinks. The second floor of the hotel room usually doesn’t get clean or tidy. No idea why but the cleaners only clear the dustbin at the second floor and neglect the rest of them

雖然環境不錯，但是我住的很生氣，我挑的頭疼選了他就是看中他寫的22平的麪積，結果房間很小！看着就不是清歡大床房的樣子，也就15－6平，我合計多花點錢買個舒服，結果沒有那個價值！因為小，桌子也小，放東西不方便，定2晚提前退房還多收錢！有窗戶，但是對着過道，來回走人敢開窗戶嗎？窗帘必須拉着，窗戶相當於沒有！房間燈也昏暗。我一個媽媽帶着小孩，洗澡的時候聽見門總是晃蕩響，嚇不嚇人！出去看是門太松。窗戶和門太沒安全感！一次性的拖鞋，廣州酒店也這樣，洗澡不方便，廁所排水不好，弄濕了，一次性拖鞋都踩濕了

Lokasi hotel sangat bagus, senang untuk berbelanja, makan makanan, dekat dengan tempat-tempat menarik, sarapan bufet, banyak selera, bilik orang tua-anak sangat selesa, anak-anak dan orang tua suka, cuaca sangat panas, hanya boleh keluar lebih cepat atau kemudian, berehat di hotel pada waktu tengah hari, penyaman udara hotel. Ia sejuk, perkhidmatan ruang depan sangat bagus, dan mereka membantu memperkenalkan makanan ringan dan makanan tempatan. Oleh kerana jadual perjalanan, saya pergi ke Gulangyu untuk menginap selama satu malam, dan hotel ini juga menyediakan simpanan percuma dan memberi salam di pesawat pada jam 9:30 malam berikutnya, yang membuat saya sangat santai dan merasa sangat hangat.

My elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location. When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness. From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish. The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street. A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel. There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel. We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50. I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.
