This is a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay if you are wanting to visit Napa / Yountville. I do think it is overpriced for what I paid however going during summer break was likely a big factor in the pricing so not a big complaint. The pool facilities were very nice, the loungers were very comfy and the area was well attended by staff who were all extremely pleasant and always smiling. The only downside to the pool area were the beds which had 4 posts but no actual wall area to lean on. This meant that your only option was to lie down which I thought was a bit strange. The rooms were brilliant and in pristine condition, the beds were comfy and the shower was nice and large. The hotel is in a great location, it is within walking distance to all the main restaurants and centre of Yountville however they do also offer a complimentary shuttle service should you wish. While overall it was an amazing hotel, there was a part of it which irritated me. This was the fact that included in your resort fee was a $50 credit for food & drink but this was not mentioned to us at all during check-in and we only found out after reading it on the website. Regardless, the hotel was brilliant and should we return to the wonderful town of Yountville we would be more than happy staying here again.

Grounds are beautiful and location perfect yet found service inconsistent and room disappointing. The room was a great size yet hasn’t been updated in some time. There were no drawers for your things - and cabinetry old and scratched. when you stay for 4 nights it would be nice to have them put away as opposed to in piles in a closet where they put hard to reach or see black shelving on the sides. The gym is a small box on the pool roof. It has great equipment but it’s in the size of a closet. They need a better gym. Period. Not acceptable for a hotel of this type. We were told there was no affiliate gym near. Breakfast is a little disappointing. Service great though it was 20 minutes to get a table for breakfast which seems unfortunate when you’re staying there. Coffee in the room delicious. The valets are incredible.

除了貴，沒毛病。不過，這家還是周邊比較中等的酒店，NAPA這裏就是主打一個貴字！不過也值得一試！不用去品酒、去葡萄園，大熱天不如就呆在漂亮的酒店裡看書、喝茶，開一瓶酒小酌。周邊有小超市可以買到小食和本地產的葡萄酒，雖然比COSTCO貴大概60%-100%，但NAPA就是這個價！

First time to the wine country to spend 5 days eating, drinking, biking and taking in all the beauty of it has to offer. Picked Yountville because of location, everything central. I picked this hotel because location and style of hotel. Close to restaurants, tasting rooms and activities, all within walking distance. My friend and I were very pleased with our stay here. The staff, all very friendly, check-in was a breeze. We were offered a welcome cocktail upon our arrival. Our room on the ground floor was very nice, felt clean, loved the tile floor (not a fan of hotel carpet) It had all the amenities of coffee/tea machine, fridge, complementary snacks and waters and big soaking tub. The bed and pillows all very comfortable. To note: no desk if you need one, LOL they don’t want you to work. Bath and shower all very nice, though they need towel rails to hang your towels on. The only aspect of the room I was disappointed in was I wanted to have a working fireplace. The grounds were kept nice, a lot of landscaping going on. I saw the pool and jacuzzi. I took advantage of the small gym, Nicely equipped with 3 Peloton, an elliptical and weights, plenty of towels, water, sanitizer and breakfast bars. We took advantage of the breakfast included which were an abundance of fresh fruit, bagels and pastries, along with artisan meats and cheese, smoked salmon, coffee, teas, juices and Mimosas and Sunday Bloody Mary. The breakfast setup was nice, you never felt over crowded with people and was perfect way to start your day. I would definitely stay here again next visit.

We went to the Napa area for our anniversary. Not our first visit by any means. We usually stay in downtown Napa but decided to give the Railway Inn a shot. Needless to say, we were not disappointed and would highly recommend if you are looking for a modest place to lie your head after a day of wine tasting. The beds were ultra comfortable with extra pillows. The bathroom was just the right size for 2 people...still, we usually took turns. The room had a TV (that I think my husband turned on once), 2 sitting chairs and wine glasses for a nightcap. It even had 2 chairs and a table outside the door to our room. We sat out there a few times for wine and breakfast. I think there were only a few other guests during the time we were there, so it was very quiet. One morning, Balloons Aloft were taking off from the parking lot behind the Inn. Very cool to see it up close (even though we have personally done the balloons before)! Very quaint, lots of other restaurants and tasting rooms within walking distance. A big plus is the Mini Model Cafe located in one of the cabooses, which serves up breakfast sandwiches, coffees, lattes, etc. We had something from here every morning except our last morning (I think it was closed). At any rate, we would highly recommend the Railway Inn to anyone visiting the area.
