Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Yuanyang

What a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea. Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset. There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great. Thanks Lucian! -Travis and Elisha (Colorado, USA) PS. We loved our stay. It was Chinese New Year so it was a bit busy in the area, but our hotel was an oasis. We found the hotel staff helpful and accommodating. This hotel is a good location if you want to hike through the rice terraces and from village to village.

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

到元陽多依樹遊玩看雲海梯田，到了元陽清風吟客棧住宿：房間乾淨整潔，温暖舒適，給人一股清新自然的感覺，窗外風景宜人，客棧位置絕佳，便於遊玩看梯田雲海。服務態度特別好，能夠及時給我們提供需要的幫助等等。

2019年12月，我曾入住過流雲閣客棧，當時就對此客棧留下非常好的印象，所以今年再來哈尼梯田旅遊我還選擇這裏。實話講，現在的客棧服務比以前更好，更貼心。另外，房間乾淨衞生，停車方便。

酒店位置挺好，離汽車站400多米，附近不遠就有步行街。酒店裝修很新，房間大空調是櫃式空調，風力很足，但燈光比較昏暗。酒店背靠一座山，窗外有工人在施工台階，沒法拉開窗簾。偶爾有小蟲子出沒，建議關好下水道。早飯是紅米線，很有特色，感覺在這個小縣城算不錯的了。

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Rice Field Ideal Homestay. The room was very comfortable, with a great bed, and every time we looked out the window, we had to pinch ourselves because the view was absolutely stunning. The guesthouse is located just above the Blue Terrace, not far from Azheke Village (mushroom houses) and a few minutes drive from the Duoyishu Terrace. Xiao Gao, the owner, is a local. He took amazing care of us, upgraded us and made sure we had the best stay. When he realized we had no means of transportation, he drove us himself to various terraces and viewing points in his car. Reaching Yuanyang can be a little tricky, so here is how we got there: we took a train from Kunming to Jianshui, and contacted Rice Field Ideal Homestay on WeChat to ask for a transfer by car. It cost 120 yuan/person, and the drive from Jianshui to the Blue Terrace took about 2.5 hours. Easy peasy.  We highly recommend staying there and hope to be back one day. Xiao Gao and all his family are amazing people.

The rooms are very nicely decorated with a minimalistic style and a lot of wood decorations inside room giving a sense of luxury and comfort; the view is amazing from the rooms; the price is very good and better than other expensive hotels nearby; the social living room by the restaurant with books and chimney is very cozy. -Waking up in the morning with the sing of a roster was amazing -Hearing the nature at night was refreshing. - The breakfast with local fresh harvested red rice noodles delicious - take a coffee inside the room with the amazing view of a top to floor window room and chill The stay was just perfect, and will recommend this hotel to friends. Will definitely stay there again such relaxing, perfect and luxurious stay Thanks to the owners and staff for being so friendly

Really enjoyed our time at the Clouds & Terraces hotel. Beautiful scenery, very friendly service. The hotel staff and the manager went out of their way to arrange our transport for the onward journey. When we left they gave us a present. Very nice gesture!
