Un hotel vraiment très agréable pour profiter d'un séjour au calme sur Zagreb tout en profitant de la proximité du centre ville Notre appartement était vraiment bien équipé, propre, 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain La déco est vraiment moderne et de qualité Le petit déjeuner est vraiment bon avec beaucoup de choix (petit bémol sur les oeufs brouillés qui sont parfois trop brouillés 😊) Nous avons dîner au restaurant pour Noël et avons été très bien accueillis et servis avec le sourire L'accueil est parfait ! Le parking gratuit est un plus ! Une très bonne adresse sur Zagreb pour visiter et se reposer sans utiliser sans voiture

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was good. It was a flat 20 minute walk into town. We would describe this 2 bedroom apar**ent layout as quirky. One room had a glass wall so exterior light made it difficult to sleep. All rooms had locking doors except the shower room which had no door. The kettle which had a short lead, could only be plugged into the bathroom floor plug. Although quirky we enjoyed the stay. They gave good instructions on how to enter the apar**ent after late arrival and were accommodating when we took longer to pick up car than expected. None of the 3 tv’s worked but helpful staff got the main one working. Staff probably need to dial the room in to check that everything works.

It's hard to write an honest review of this hotel because there's not really any fault with it in itself... BUT... it is VERY remote right at the top of a mountain about 10 miles outside of the city and it takes at least an hour to get back and forth along a very narrow winding road so, if like us, you were thinking of staying here and popping back and forth, think again. The hotel is really a ski hotel and geared mainly to accommodate the small ski resort nearby therfore the season it caters for is winter. This wasn't clear at the time of booking so when we arrived at the end of the summer (September) the pool was closed for cleaning, there was no drinking water due to seasonal maintenence and other services closed or limited etc. Having booked to stay the week we cancelled our booking and only stayed the one night. Bottom line is it's a nice, clean hotel and the staff were all very friendly but it wasn't what we we're led to believe at the time of booking, hence writing this review in the hope that it stops other travellers being misled.

We were in hotel for 2 nights in August. Everything was very good. We had a superior room and room was big enough and very clean. Bed and the Pillow were really comfortable. The room facilities were exactly what someone needs in a short stay and air conditioner was very good. The staff were very polite and kind. The hotel has free outdoor parking. Hotel is a littel bit far from center and old town but You can reach the tram station in 10 minutes by walk and you should take a tram No.17 . The ticket was very cheap about Per person 70 or 80 cent. It takes about 20 minutes from the hotel to the city center by tram. Breakfast was good and we ate a dinner at hotel’s restaurant and it was really perfect as well. Overall, we had a good and relaxing time at the hotel. Thank you very much!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Drazen and his wife are the most welcoming hosts you can imagine. They offer wonderful accommodations (we got a huge two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with air conditioning). The apartment was very comfortable as were the beds. Breakfast was delicious and fun. We learned much about Zagreb and Croatia as a whole. All in all, we are extremely happy that we were lucky enough to stay at Anastasia suites!

A highly recommended hotel, first of all the receptionists are excellent, they give amazing service and with a smile, clean, spacious and well-equipped rooms, a very good breakfast. The location is indeed not in the city center, but there is public transportation of all kinds nearby, we traveled with Uber and we had fun. In conclusion, I highly recommend

We stayed at the hotel for a short time, but we were very happy with the service. The staff is extremely friendly, available for any questions and requests, they try very hard to satisfy the guest. The ambience is at a very high level, modern and comfortable. The rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast is varied and very tasty. Location is superb, very close to the beautiful Lake Jarun. We will be very happy to return!

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is located a couple of kilometers/miles from Zagreb center, in a quieter area. There are nearby trams with which you can easily reach the center in minutes. There are a few small restaurants, pubs, and shops around. The hotel has 2 small buildings with 3-4 floors - the main building and an ”annex” (we heard it had no elevator, but we stayed in the main one which has). Each floor has about 6-7 rooms. They have their own small parking lot between the buildings, and we always found parking there, though sometimes it was a little more difficult to find. The room was average in size, with a modern shower (no bath). I have to say the bed was a little squeaky, but just a little. Breakfast was served on floor -1. There were many items, but they were constantly running out of them and not replenishing them on time. The service at the reception was superb! They seemed to try and help us in any way possible, suggesting places to sit together in the hotel or visit outside, giving tips, providing us with wine glasses etc.

IIvana HI stayed here for one night with my 8yo. We needed to wait at the reception for the staff to show up from the back. At 6pm!?!? Why!?!? Our room was very good,clean, spacious, quiet and twin beds like I asked. Complimentary water bottle is a nice touch. We went for dinner before heading out, empty restaurant,quick service, ordered aperol spritz and was told they ran out!?!?!? 10th August at 6:50pm they don’t have it!?!? No effort was made to accommodate me at all. Three waiters were walking around, leaning and chatting to each other as nothing to do, but none thought of solving the missing drink for the guest!?!?. When I wanted to pay with my non touch card, both pos machines declined as they didn’t have an insert option on them, I paid cash. On our way out that night I wanted to check with the receptionist how late the bar will be open, but again they were nowhere to be found. All’s in all staff is completely uninterested in guests and making their stay more enjoyable, very disappointed.

BBread2011We stayed 4 nights at hotel. The hotel is conveniently located with around 10 minutes walk to bus terminal. Thus, it’s a good choice for those travelling by bus to Plitvice Lakes, Split, etc. Room size is good. Mattress is firm enough (maybe it’s quite new). There are USB plug nearby the desk. Overall, our stay were comfortable except the shower water pressure not strong enough and the super super noisy air-conditioning. It would automatically switch off and on. We need to keep fixing it manually many times. Anyway, this was addressed to front desk upon check out. Bottles of water was available in room, but chargeable at €3 each (very expensive!).

We stayed three nights and the first night was horrendous. We stayed in Room number 17 and the air conditioning unit’s motors whirred relentlessly all through the night despite being actually switched off. I went down to reception 3 times and was told there was nothing they could do. Each time they insisted that it was switched off - which it was at the wall but still so made so much noise - we probably got an hour’s sleep maximum… Another thing is the skylight window has no blind or curtain on so floods with light at the break of dawn. The hotel swapped our room the next day which we had no issues with but presumably anyone who stays in this one room is going to have the same problem! Surely others have complained?! (I’ve got videos of the noise at 2am but this site won’t let you upload it)!

BBartek W. SowińskiBittersweet stay at Speeka. Bad weather first 2 days and few mayor sites still closed due to earthquake in 2020. Hostel is located at 3-lanes main street so prepare for the traffic almost 24/7. Windows are old so don't stop the noise. 1st two nights I slept in room number 9 and there were two other cranky beds making so much noise with every move made. Then I moved to nr 6 and it was much better.
Staying there you need to be also prepared for coffee, tea and hot water shortages. And those shabby walls make an impression that the owner doesn't want to invest too much in renovation. Good thing is that hostel is in walking distance from the old town and everything is actually very closed.
People are nice and helpful, thanks to the lady at the reception I managed to print a ticket for 2Cellos - without it I wouldn't enter cause they don't have scanners to read a ticket on smartphone screen. But the concert itself was also sad, maybe cause of those strings sound. I don't know what happened but most likely will visit Zagreb in a few years again and stay at some better place.

PPengguna Tetamu Liked · The location - center, 5 mins walking from the train station, everything else is also very near. Free lockers with the deposit. The beds very comfortable. The rooms have fans so people should not be complaining about rooms being too hot. There are vending machines in the hostel - it might be life saving in thee middle of the night - but they accept cash only. Disliked · Apart from the girl working in the morning no one smiles, they do their job, but still, when they looked at me I felt guilty of being there. Urinals in men toilet don't work, on any of the floors. there is a note saying that it's temporary but the note is so old that the color faded away - only one shower for the entire floor, can be problem. When it comes to Zagreb the price is great for the value, but comparing to other countries, it is very expensive, but accommodation in Croatia in general is of high price if you compare the ratio to food for instance.
