The hotel is really nice located with great views its just the rooms that needs renovation especially the bathrooms, we only had breakfast in and it definitely needs more kind of food variety, overall is ok if you don’t spend your day in the hotel .

The hotel was very good and clean. Problem was with the working staff. The recepsionist was very rude (old lady with glasses) she made a mistake with the reservation and did not accept the mistake. Laso the manager was not worth his job. Also one of the waiters was a bit clumsy.

Worst experience. Rude staff - nice on arrival but then could not care less. Miles away from the town- long walk up an extremely steep hill. My feet actually bled. No beach near the hotel unless you get a taxi. I believe hotel offer a shuttle twice a day. Food repetitive, poor quality and basic. Not 4 staff. Would not stay again. Do not waste your money. Only positive was the beautiful view but that is all there is.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. We had a 6 night reservation in one of the 6 most expensive suites “Suite with Panoramic Sea View & Private Pool”, including breakfast. Room: The room was big & spacious, but the shower was extremely dirty and moldy (see pictures of dirt I could remove with a napkin). When taking my first shower, the rain shower head was broken -＞ they fixed it, but more on that later. In the entire 45m² room, not a single hook to hang a towel. Key system did not work -＞ Chambermaids did not know when room was occupied so knocking on door whilst not the right moment. Without any warning (could have been said during check in), a man walked behind the private pools every morning from 8AM to 8.15AM to do maintenance of the private pool (which is of course good) but I was startled when I took a shower and was naked, and saw a man passing by. The view was outstanding, the pool was clean. Hotel: Faded glory! The pictures speak for themselves. An empty, dirty pool next to the main one, a polluted unusable tennis court & minigolf. Unpleasant furnishings while so much potential with the view. Overall very sad atmosphere! Service: After checking in, we went to the front desk to inform about the broken shower head. The reaction of the receptionist Maria was “Nooo, don’t tell me that!!” and bowing her head over the counter, followed silence and then “I will check with the handyman”. Then I inquired where we could have the free welcome drinks that were included in the reservation email. Reaction was a long and big sigh, a silence and then she said “go to the bar”, with an attitude that I requested something that was not ok to ask? Very rude. This is not hospitality. Breakfast: What a letdown this was! The coffee is really really bad -＞ Instant coffee from a machine. No variety in bread, only toast bread. Every morning the same, greasy food. Not even fresh fruit or yoghurt, only 2 types of canned fruit. We stopped going for breakfast in the hotel and went outside for breakfast. Overall: Oh how we overpaid for this stay. What a waste of money! The only good thing is the view and the private pool, but is that worth ＞200 euros per night? DEFINITELY NOT!

We had the most amazing experience at Avalon Palace Hotel! The breathtaking views in the area made our stay truly unforgettable. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional kindness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a team of hardworking individuals who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness. A special shoutout to Mary, the dedicated receptionist, and the attentive driver, for their exceptional service. The room attendants and kitchen staff were also a delight, making me feel like a part of their extended family. The camaraderie and teamwork among the staff were evident in every interaction, creating an atmosphere of warmth and genuine care. Leaving Avalon Palace Hotel was bittersweet, as it felt like saying goodbye to newfound friends. The private suites were an absolute delight, offering a level of luxury and comfort that I had rarely experienced before. Without hesitation, I give this hotel a glowing 10 out of 10 point review. The combination of the stunning location, incredible views, and the exceptional staff's dedication truly set it apart. I wasn’t overly impressed with this hotel. You get what you pay for. The photos and reviews definitely looked better than I expected. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a cheap place to sleep although the beds are pretty hard. Rooms can use updating. I was in a mountain view room which was actually a view of the parking lot.

We came to this hotel 7 years ago and were thrilled to come back again for another stay. We stayed in the suite and was absolutely worth every penny! Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who articulate shout out to George who was also just as fabulous all those years ago! ❤️ cocktails were 5 euros so although you can’t go all inclusive it’s very reasonably priced and they offer a free shuttle bud service saving you 8 euros in taxis. Thanks for making my birthday everyone you were as perfect as ever xxx

Very central strategic location to visit everything. Excellent landscape. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready and we were consequently assigned a suite for an additional €50. The cleaning service needs to be reviewed, as well as the quality of the very cramped and dated bathrooms. At the change of room on the second day, after wasting 40 minutes of our vacation time, we did not find shampoo and soap in the new room. Then we discovered that shampoo, soap and body wash are the same thing. We recommend greater flexibility in breakfast times, as most people are not happy to have breakfast on holiday at 7 in the morning, but only due to needs such as excursions or departures. The staff on these occasions presented themselves as unhelpful and annoyed. I do not recommend dinner, very repetitive and of low quality. Breakfast acceptable but not excellent.
