hotel is very near to tianmen mountain cable car place, walkable. there r restaurants nearby too! the staffs there were very friendly. they also upgraded us to a higher floor room which has a better view.

During our stay, the front desk truly impressed us with their exceptional support. We were thrilled by the complimentary room upgrades and laundry services that made our experience even better. The cleanliness of our accommodations was remarkable, and although the location was a bit far from the National Park, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Our only minor concern was the presence of smokers in the corridor, which was a bit bothersome. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction.

Hotel where they permit smoking, should place all the family rooms in same floor.
Smart gadgets for the room which is useful, but insufficient place to hang clothes. No hooks to hang clothes and towels inside the bathroom, simple yet important but hotel did not consider.
Very convenient location, next to Tianmen, can actually see the cable car from the hotel room.

I had a wonderful stay at Metropolo Hotel Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain. The location is fantastic, situated in a great area close to Tianmen Mountain and other attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was not only affordable but also clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. Overall, it’s a great value hotel with excellent service and a prime location!

Great hotel, love the smart room and all its functions. Close to the tianmenshan entry. Good breakfast from 7am onwards.

Great place to stay as next to Tianmen Cable Station. Also near to many eating places nearby. Plenty of choices. Main negatives are plenty of 2nd hand smoke and the sharing of elevators with adjacent hotel means long wait going up or down

The best part was the laundry which is faster than the actual timer and there's detergent provided. The worst part was the slow elevators and the service robots trying to get in which couldn't be moved. Staff aren't the most helpful but no security deposit was required and breakfast although limited changed daily. Would recommend

Everything is as expected. The breakfast is great, it’s super close to the cable station entrance and the check-in staff are super helpful and helped me with my DIDI cab to the next stop.
Will definitely stay here again
