The location of the hotel is fantastic. Yes, you have to find the entrance to the path and then hike up the hill for a few minutes, but then you get a view of the mountains directly from the hotel (the pictures are from the balcony of the room I had). The owner is very nice and you can connect on WeChat under the hotel’s number for any questions (especially if you don’t speak Chinese, like me). The room was nice, clean, and well equipped. And the small towel thing seems to be the same in other hotels. It was not an issue for me.

Nice mountain hotel, my room had a balcony and a stunning view on the peaks from Wulingyuan park. Owner was friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and luminous. Finally, the location was extremely close to the South Gate of the mountain park (5min walk) and near restaurants / convenience stores. On the downside, the hotel is on top of a hill so you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach it which can be inconvenient with luggage. The place could also have a few more commodities such as large towels or water bottles. Overall a very pleasant stay though 😊

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a cheap and quiet place to rest. The room was really good and spacious, the environment was also very clean. The shower room had hot water with good pressure and there was a water heater and a hair dryer available. The room view was also amazing. I was very happy with my stay in this hotel. The hotel id indeed close to the south entrance of the park so there are restaurants and shops nearby. The only problem is that you have to go up and down stairs to get to the hotel and at the end of the day when you're super tired that can be a pain but I just thought of it as extra exercise. They added a "ramp" for you to be able to roll your suitcase which was ok. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Zhangjiajie again.

The owner is extremely kind and it will help you get a lot of info about the place, however they don’t offer normal size towels and the room was pretty cold (tough you can warm the bed and it’s comfortable sleep). The position is both a good and a bad thing, cause it’s totally out of the park chaos but still 5 min away from the entrance and with some restaurants in the area but it’s pretty hard to find the hotel for a foreigner and if you have a suitcase or a backpack full of things it’s really tiring.

A lovely place to stay, with gorgeous views of Zhangjiajie. The staff were super helpful and always around. Big spacious rooms, clean bathrooms with nice, hot showers. The wifi was really good and worked well. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie Forest Park, the South entrance is less than 1km away. This place is great for any type of traveller.

This place is absolutely amazing. The facilies are basic but fully functional. If you get a room facing the valley you get amazing view from your room. It's situated only 10 minutes walk from the Southern Gate to Wulingyuan Scenic Area – the forest park entrance. The owner Zhanggongfu is super nice and really helpful and knows the park and the town well. The hotel is placed up in a small valley surrounded by small household gardens and you can see the mountains of the park. The small town below is not as developed as the area around the Eastern gate, so if you want a quieter place this is it. It's easy to get to the Eastern Gate by bus. There's also a bus going to the railway stations in Zhangjiajie, the big town. I highly recommend this place.

Everything went very well, the tenants were lovely and were assured everything went for the best! I will recommend it to my friends if they want to visit Furong.

Very good, the host is great, no english as usual but he gives you a map and tries to help. The room was clean but the walls were dirty, everything else was clean though. The place is located at about 150m up with slowly ascending steps. If walking up stairs is not your thing i would suggest something else but its got a flat slope for luggages with wheels its about 3min of steps

We were having such an amazing stay at Sanxing Inn so we decided to extend our stay for 1 more night. We just loved waking up with those views!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! We were treated so kindly by the host, and the room was spotless. The location of the inn is stunning, with mountain views and a pretty stair pathway leading up to it. It is also a ten minute walk from the entrance to Zhangjaijie and next to many restaurants. The path to the inn can be a bit tricky to find at first — just look for the inn signs pointing to a stone path on the edge of a parking lot. I would definitely stay here again!

First of all, Zhang, the guy working at reception, is kind, and helpfull, all in all, wonderfull. He helped me with everything he could, with a smile on him, either it would be getting info for the park or for the buses around. Having said this, the hotel is situated in an awkward location, having to climb 354 stairs (I counted) to get to its front door from the main street. This should be a problem only for some guests, as they decide it, but this info should be posted on the hotel profile. Besides, there is no heat, having only the electric blankets to keep me warm in a quite cold area. Lastly, also just to put info out there, the toillet is for squatting, there is no sitting toilet (again, it is up to each guest to decide how this affect them). All in all I enjoyed my stay, though there is plenty of room for improvement

If you do not want to be at the main entrance of the park in the turistic town full and you want a quite area, 10 min walk from the south gate of the park and with an amazing view, this is the perfect place. Carefull if you go there in the winter: no AC, but just a bad heater.

Very mixed feelings. Location : the map in the app puts the hotel along the road, that's what I had chosen it, it was supposed to be very close to me (a had a heavy backpack, and a pain in the knees, I didn't want to walk a lot). But you actually have to climb stairs for 5mn, it's not convenient if you have suitcases, or heavy luggages. The location is nice because it's very quiet and the view is beautiful. But the situation is not clear enough on the app, I don't know if it is the responsability of trip.com or of the hotel. Room and equipment : the room would need to be refreshed, but it's clean. Only a small towel is provided and it is not changes. There is no drinkable water provided, you have to buy bottles. It is not normal, if one's rents a place to sleep, he/she expects to be able to drink. I really did not appreciate that. Staff : the person in charge was not unpleasant however I didn't like the way he registered me. Giving my number was not enough, he asked me to call him to check. I did not appreciate at all this way of being suspicious, as if I was going to give a wrong phone number.
