Location is great, not that far from the main boat wharf. Nice that owner offered to come and guide us to the house. Also nicely that they helped showing in detail the way to explore the sightings on the island. The room is super clean, free of cluster. Amenities are efficient. The only drawback was the assigned top attic room which is quite low in height, especially the bathing area. Other than that, all is good.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The owner was very welcoming, and I had a pleasant stay. They even helped transport our luggage to the pier afterwards.

The room was small but very comfortable. I didn't spend much time there as I was out exploring. It's close to the ferry station, restaurants and convenient stores. Disposable towels are provided but if you prefer to keep your carbon footprint low, bring your own.

The room is compact, but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler and felt very secure. The owner was incredibly kind and proactively offered assistance with directions. The air conditioning in the room was excellent and kept it wonderfully cool. I forgot to snap photos of the room itself, but the lobby and the outdoor views were very picturesque and made for great shots! There's also a reasonably priced restaurant right next door where you can sample some local specialties – definitely recommended! Crucially, it's incredibly convenient for anyone catching a ferry, as it's just a stone's throw from the port!

He genuinely provided the most reasonable and reliable advice for us visitors. The guesthouse room itself was quite spacious, and I especially loved the private little garden outside. The amenities were well-appointed. Plus, there are breakfast spots and convenience stores right next door, which is very convenient. What makes it truly excellent value for money is its extremely close proximity to both Putuoshan Pier and Luojia Mountain Pier. Highly recommended!

**Service:** The owner provided truly outstanding service! He was already waiting for us at the pier upon our arrival and helped us with our luggage throughout our stay. He even assisted us in planning our itinerary. When it was time to leave the island, he kindly delivered our luggage directly back to the pier for us. So incredibly thoughtful! **Environment:** Many people mention that Xishan Area 1 is somewhat rustic or basic, but I found the rooms here to be excellent. Although not spacious, they were impeccably clean and tidy, and the overall environment was wonderfully peaceful.

The owner is very kind. Getting around is very convenient. Wishing the owner good health, and hope to see them again next year!

This was my first time visiting Putuo Mountain, and a friend recommended this guesthouse. The room was spotlessly clean, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The landlady is incredibly nice. She even had her family pick us up at the pier right after we disembarked. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was fantastic. The terrace, especially, had an absolutely perfect atmosphere. We'll definitely stay here again next year!

The room was very clean. This was my tenth trip to Putuoshan in nine years, but only my third time choosing a guesthouse. The previous two guesthouses were either too far out of the way or incredibly unhygienic, which is why, after having children, we always opted for hotels. I honestly wouldn't have considered another guesthouse this time if not for a friend's recommendation... and I'm so glad we weren't disappointed! My daughter also raved about how warm and welcoming the owner was, saying she wants to come back to this exact place next year. It's pet-friendly – we even brought our dog, and the owner was incredibly accommodating towards them too. When we checked out, the owner even helped us transport our luggage all the way to the ferry terminal. We are so grateful for this wonderful find!
