The Ambassador is a newly renovated hotel just off the lake in Zurich. Old town and shopping just minutes away. Train station and tour busses a 30-minute walk Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. WiFi didn't work but got a passcode for the business WiFi instead. Television also had some issues (kept rebooting). But, we chalk that up to a new place. Everything else was great!

The Ambassador Hotel is an amazing place to stay in Zurich. The building is historic and charming. Very nice spot. The rooms are excellent. Very clean and comfortable. The service is so good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks here were amazing.

first time in the silk restaurant-and also the last time...my sons vegan curry didn't taste like curry and there where only a few lentils...the vitello had hardly any tonnato...my soup was more a paste and had no flavour at all; my sons cesar salad had no pamesancheese, the sauce was missing and the ratio between lettuce and chicken wasn't balanced...the entrecote café de paris was a childs cut...and had very little cafe de paris on it...not a place i would invite someone in

Hotel Ambassador à L'Opera is a nice place to stay. The location is great. The building is historic and charming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stunning. The team is professional, helpful and friendly. The boutique hotel is a great place to stay.

Wonderful small boutique hotel close to center of activity. Great tram and train connections to other spots in Zurich and easy to/from airport and elsewhere in Switzerland. Terrific staff, helpful and available. Quiet and excellent restaurant.

After an initial problem with the online reservation system I was upgraded from the Opera Hotel to the Ambassador. And forgot all about the initial frustration. An excellent choice to anticipate the opera performance and to extend the pleasure from it.

We had a lovely stay here for two nights. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautifully appointed and roomy. . It is walking distance to everything including an excellent choice of restaurants and near the lake. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
