We stayed in both the main hotel and in the guesthouse across the alley and were quite satisfied if both facilities knowing they been renovated within the last year. The main hotel is right around the corner from Zürich HB the rooms feature a nice private bath (new, big & clean) and nice modern styling. The guesthouse as new and stylish as hotels go, but the modular bath/shower unit with its semi-transparent blue glass leaves a lot to be desired when everyone in the room knows what your doing on toilet (very little privacy). We luckily are prepared and carry large binder clips and clipped a bath towel across the glass during our stay. The staff are amazing and extremely cordial. Free coffee/tea is offered 24/7 in the main hotel and on each floor. Guest house residents must go back across the alley to the main lobby. Day tour buses are right across the street for easy access. We would stay again definitely.

We loved this hotel! Fabian and all of the front desk staff where amazing and made us feel so welcome. It's very close to the train station and walking distance to old town. Breakfast was also good in the M Lounge and the view from our junior suite was amazing. Our only complaint is the elevator situation. We almost missed our flight because it took us 30 minutes to get down. Only 2 out of 3 elevators where working the day we were leaving. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!

We really enjoyed our trip to Zurich and the Boutique Hotel Pltzhirsch was one of those reasons. It is in a very convenient place, with plenty of restaurants steps away. It is clean and quiet. Our room had a beautiful bay window. The management is very helpful and the restaurant breakfast buffet was excellent. We highly recommend this property.

Everything was good but not the location where is not close to the centre station. You have to walk 15-20min to go there. The staff was nice and the hotel have washing machine that you can wash clothes in there which is very convenient for us

The accommodation is modern and very clean. The location is great, close to a lot of places walking and also easy reach to public transport. The most impressive thing was the the lovely breakfast served in the room, which my 2 year old kid would look forward every morning. The staff was friendly and very competent. I couldn’t recommend them enough! If there was a small thing to say, would be to add roller blackouts in the bedroom’s window, they have windows blackout in the living room, but it would’ve been great to have the bedroom darker, however this is a really small thing compared to the outstanding service offered.

We stayed at this Novotel in Zurich, the Novotel in Munich and the Novotel in Geneva. This Novotel was definitely not as good as the others. The location is fine - it's well connected to public transport (it is located in the business technology park). We had booked nearly nine months in advance and asked for two rooms near each other (we were travelling as a family). We were given two rooms on separate floors at opposite ends of the hotel. It was literally the most far apart that the rooms could be. Reception on check in said that they would change it, then kept me waiting for 45 minutes while they tried to do so. I gave up at the 45 minute mark and just took the rooms that had been initially allocated. The initial person on check in did try and be helpful and gave a good restaurant recommendation. The other person on reception really was not helpful - in the end one of his colleagues stepped in to assist as I think she could see that he was being very unhelpful. Reception was often busy with queues (the reception area is not large enough for the size of the hotel). We were clearly tourist visitors to the city, and no-one in reception advised us on check-in that there was a huge festival in the city taking place (attracts 2 million visitors to Zurich) that was affecting all public transport plus restaurant availability etc. The rooms and the pool were fine. The breakfast at this hotel was very, very average, particularly the hot food items. The breakfast compared very unfavourably to those offered by the Novotel hotels in Geneva and Munich. Check out took a long time, and there did not seem to be a place to drop keys. The staff have very casual uniforms (pants and polo shirt) which also contributes to the whole feel of the hotel seeming like a lower standard. Hopefully Novotel can look at this hotel and try and improve the standard so it is of a similar standard to its other locations. (Novotel Munich in particular was so much better!)

The hotel is a little away from the center (15~20 min by tram), plus 4min walk to the station. The check-in was quick, although in proper Swiss fashion the check-in time is only at 3pm. Fortunately, we were allowed to move in earlier. The room is big enough, but if you have big suitcases it'll be a bit tight. The staff is courteous and helpful, and try to accommodate if they can. The breakfast selection isn't too wide, but it's well arranged and has most of what you'd expect. There's a proper gym (exceedingly rare) with enough equipment to satisfy all but the pros. However, it does get a bit busy at times. They also have a decent swimming pool. There's a workstation with a printer next to the reception that guests can use for free - perfect if you need to print out tickets. They were happy to hold our baggage after we moved out until our flight in the evening - much appreciated. We paid about 125CHF a night for a standard room for two including breakfast, which is a good deal in Zurich. All things considered, there's very little to complain about. We had an excellent stay, and would love to stay there again.

We stayed at Acasa Suites for the Taylor Swift concert in July 2024. Upon arrival after a red eye flight they offered us the spa to freshen up while we waited for our room to be ready. The staff went out of their way to ensure we knew how to get everywhere and we had the best time! HIGHLY recommend!

PPengguna TetamuVery nicely maintained hotel in a central location in Thun. Recently stayed a couple of nights in this location and found the hotel to be very well maintained, rooms were clean and less than ten minutes walk to the train station. Location made it quick to walk to train/ferry station to take a very enjoyable ferry ride ride on Lake Thun to then enjoy a day in Interlaken and then the train ride back. Staff that we encountered were great and very helpful answering questions. Highly recommend!

WWilson SamWe had a terrible experience on the second night of the stay: We went out for city tour in the morning and when we come back to the room in the afternoon, our room is like being robbed, 3 out of 4 suitcases are missing, the bathroom is only half way clean, balcony door left open, most clothes hanging in the wardrobe are missing. I called front office immediately and i have been told that housekeeping had found the door of wardrobe is broken and has a risk of falling, so for safety reason, therefore, they have transferred our suitcases to the new room. so here are the question: 1. Why there are only half of my belongings are being transferred to the new room? You either transferred all my belongings to the new room, but not just half of it, it is so scary when you back to your room which it is like a crime scene! 2. Is it normal for a luxury hotel to touch guest's personal belonging without permission of the guest? 3. If the hotel find it a safety issue inside the room, why do they still let the guest go into the room? That kind of put the guest in a dangerous environment that may get injured! 4. Have the hotel ever tried to contact the guest, by phone/email of such incident had happened in the room? or worst case, to stop me to get in to the room, when i passed by front desk before get back to the room? none of it had been done In short, this is not acceptable for any hotel, not talking about Ameron is a luxury brand, the hotel has poor risk management, this is my first time using this brand and I don't think there will be a second chance, terrible experience and even on the checked out date, no one care to ask how was my stay.

EEricMAmazing small hotel. It is an a great area. Easily walkable from the HB. Food and beverage easily available on the street and there is an attached restaurant (which sadly I didn't visit). The bed is very small. I'm 6'3” and barely fit. That being said it was super comfortable. Great for. Single traveler, but more than that probably couldn't fit on the bed. Not many amenities in the room. A fan to keep you cool. No refrigerator. Small TV. There was a bathtub, but I didn't take a bath. There was no anti-slip mat that I could see... But there may be one somewhere. That's my biggest problem with this hotel. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. Everyone was in good spirits. I only stayed during a layover... But if I was in Zurich as a single traveler, I would happily stay there again for a few days. While traveling and wanting to see the sights, a fancy room isn't needed. A basic room to recharge is exactly what this was. It was comfortable and is in a great location. Very close to neat locations and food.

PPengguna Tetamu I booked this hotel for a night. We checked in around 8pm and we found out that the temperature in the room was quite hot so before we went out for dinner we just turned it to 20°c which is the minimum. After we came back room, we still found that the room was still hot and the temp on the screen was shown as 24.5°. Then, we went to the front desk to tell them that maybe the A/C had problem but the staff said that their A/C works different from normal A/C, they call it “Cooler”! So, we told them this is not right because on the website exactly shows “A/C not Cooler”. Then the staff went to check the temperature in my room with a thermometer in front of the cooler in my room and it was shown 23.8° which that time we set it on 20° for over 3 hours! We asked them to check if there was any available room to change. First, they said the hotel was quite full and if they gave us another room and the cooler still didn’t work what they can do for us. Then they said they have fans if we are ok (30cm width fans), so I told them we were 3 persons, is it possible if we can get 3 fans. And they said “yes“. After that they told us they can move us to another room so we checked and we felt it quite better but still hot so we asked them can we get the fans. This time they told us they can only give us 1 fan because they have only 3 fans. I have to explained them again that first thing you said you had A/C but then turned out as “cooler”, second thing you accepted that you will give us 3 fans, third we paid for the room with A/C which is the price is higher than non-A/C room in other hotels. So, they gave us 2 fans finally. However, the room was clean and good for staying in winter according to the “cooler” really good works for “heater”! And thank you that solved the problem without saying sorry and making us felted like we were guilty to not able to sleep with that temp. (That night the temp outside the room was hotter than inside so we couldn’t open the windows)

PPengguna TetamuI had to book Hotel Krone last minute due to a friend whom I was visiting contracting covid. The booking process, communication and collection of key was seamless. I can't thank Karin enough, she answered all my questions and also helped organise late checkout so I could have a work meeting in the morning. The hotel has a hotel/hostel vibe the benefits of a hostel in that it has communal areas if you want them, cheap rates and is in the heart of town, but with a hotel finish with modern rooms, Soeder soap and shampoo and ultra comfy beds. The shared bathroom situation wasn't and issue for me at all and I felt very safe in the property.
