Day 5 of 10-day Turkey tour

We set off at 8 am again, following the commuter traffic to the old town of Antalya, entering through Hadrian's Gate and walking through the alleys of the Kaleici Historic District. The former residents have all moved out, and the old houses have been converted into guesthouses, restaurants, and shops. It gets very lively here in the summer. The guide said that both Russians and Ukrainians like to come here, and although the two countries are at war, you can see buses from travel agencies from both countries parked side by side. I thought the pier in Kas was already beautiful, but when the guide took us to the harbor pier viewing platform, I was really amazed by the scenery. We walked around the ancient city bay, admiring the beauty of the Mediterranean from different angles. We had 3 hours of free time, and finally rested at a restaurant next to Republic Square, eating, enjoying the street view, and waiting for the group to gather. Next, we visited the Temple of Apollo, and the weather turned cloudy. We said goodbye to the Mediterranean. It took 4 hours by car to get to Konya. It started snowing heavily when we crossed the Taurus Mountains, and the road was covered with snow. The car went down the mountain slowly, but the driver was very skilled, and we arrived at the Konya Grand Hotel at around 7:30 pm without any problems.
