Wat Bangplee Yai Klang, worship the large reclining Buddha

There is also a heart of the reclining Buddha for you to apply gold leaf to. ▪️ Let's get to know Wat Bang Phli Yai Klang briefly. Wat Bang Phli Yai Klang was built around 2367. Wat Bang Phli Yai Klang is home to Somdet Phra Sakyamuni Sri Sumedhabophit, the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand. It is approximately 53 meters long. A chapel was built to cover it later, making the chapel as high as a 4-story building. Inside the large Buddha, there are meditation rooms, pillars, and walls. There are many paintings depicting stories of angels, hell, heaven, and Buddhist teachings and philosophies. There is also a heart of the reclining Buddha on the 4th floor of the chapel. The heart of the reclining Buddha is an important spot where people like to apply gold leaf and pay homage to it to ask for blessings. And in addition to the longest reclining Buddha in Thailand, there is also the Phra Maha Chedi Phisan Wutthikit Mongkhon Mahachana Buchit or Phra Maha Chedi Wat Klang, which is a large chedi with a golden umbrella spire.
