Celebrating Songkran, Thai New Year with a fine dining Omakase experience in Sushi Ichizu, a gem ranked No. 29 on OAD Top 100 Asia Top Restaurants 2022. As a beginner in Omakase dining, I indulged in their exquisite Nigiri Course, priced at 4,000 THB, featuring the freshest Japanese ingredients. The Hitaru Ika Tosazu Jelly, firefly squid sourced from Toyama, and the succulent Hotate, scallop from Hokkaido, left me in awe. Additionally, the Hirame Kobujime, Japanese flounder from Hokkaido, was divine. The freshness of the fish can be tasted on the palate. The Ama Ebi, sweet shrimp, and Uni, sea urchin, both from Hokkaido, were heavenly, rounding out a truly unforgettable dining experience.
