Pay homage to the ancient Buddha image from the era of Queen Chamadevi.

🏠Wat Khruhabodi, built in 1824 by Phra Ratchamontri Borirak (Phu), who donated his house to be turned into a temple. King Rama III recognized it as a royal temple and named it Wat Khruhabodi, meaning the temple of the wealthy. The principal Buddha image, Phra Saek Kham, was also bestowed. Points of interest within the temple include: 🏠The Ubosot, a brick and mortar building with Chinese-style architecture. The gable is decorated with large square glazed tiles and Chinese porcelain. The interior walls are painted with Chinese floral patterns. 🙏Phra Saek Kham, the principal Buddha image in the Ubosot, is enshrined in a busabok.
