every singaporean’s favourite destination — bangkok! #bangkokfood #travel #food food we ate: • sara jane’s (8/10) - traditional thai food (and some western choices but we didn’t order any of those) • after you (7/10) - dessert was good, plus we bought the coffee biscuits which were amazing! but coffee was a definite miss… • pe aor tom yum kung noodle (10/10) - overall just amazing, we loved every aspect of it :) the tomyum soup was just the right taste, the seafood was fresh and the thai milk tea was not too sweet • yenlyyours (5/10) - very normal mango sticky rice (though they self-proclaimed that they are #1) • minimelts (8/10) - always a childhood favourite of mine so i’m quite biased, but taste wise it’s not ‘wow’ • a random store at ‘the one ratchada market’ (4/10) - food tasted ok actually, but service was so bad and they missed out one of our orders. note: this night market is definitely a miss, many stores were not open when we went on a friday night • TOOKPAK (8/10) - overall nice flavours but the omelette lacked taste and texture was not what we expected, it was soft all over instead of crispy outside • gatta cafe (9/10) - great coffee, not much complaints except for the fact that they don’t serve pastries and only serve cookies • sipsong banna noodle house (9/10) - great flavours for the curry noodles and northern chili pork noodles, cheap too! note: portions are smaller so you can order more and share :) • moo ping hea owen silom (6/10) - tasted good but the meat was too tough for my liking :( a local favourite though
