Best Blue Mountains Trail

If you have a car in Blue Mountains, do not miss the Grand Canyon Trail near Blackheath. The trail starts from Grand Canyon carpark near Blackheath and dives deep into the looming sandstone walls that have been carved over millions of years by the flow of Greaves Creek. The Grand Canyon Track also brings you to Evans Lookout which offers picturesque views of Gross Valley behind the iconic three sisters. It was amazing to come up close to the bottom of the canyons to view the unique biodiversity - mossy rocks and ferns admist the sandstones and to even cross several creeks (with stepping stones). The hike is 80% downhill and 20% uphill if you start from the Grand Canyon Carpark (highly recommended to go this way) and beware of the last 20% uphill - it was brutal but the views at Evans Lookout Point were so worth it!
