Castle Bragança 🗺️

#2024wish Just spent an unforgettable day at Castle Bragança in Portugal. 🏰 The 8 EUR entrance fee was a small price to pay for the history and commanding views inside. 💸 Standing on a hill, this medieval fortress made me travel back in time through its intact borders and fascinating artefacts. Each stone seemed to have tales about battles and royalty. 🏰🕰️ The panoramic vistas over the castle ramparts were unsurpassed – a delightful fusion of ‘old town’, green surroundings, and far-off Serra da Nogueira mountains. What a great place for taking pictures! 📸🌄 Its interior was a grand collection of armor, weaponry and period furnishings suggesting the country’s history. The storytelling here was mesmerizing as the artifacts. ⚔️🛡️ A few steps away, the Domus Municipalis a special medieval cistern provided yet another dimension to historical immersive. What a cultural feast – two absolute jewels in one visit! 🇵🇹🏰 The nearby Bragança city center called with its charming streets, local markets and lovely cafes – the perfect way to relax after visiting the castle’s history. 🏰🍷 As the sun was setting over Bragança and illuminating the castle walls with a warm glow, it dawned on me that this visit had been one of my most memorable moments in Portugal – an amalgamation between fairy tale charm and rich culture alongside beautiful sceneries. 🌟 #CastleBragançaAdventures #medievalmagic #portugueseheritage #hilltopviews #castlebragançaadventures
