A Great Trip Aboard The Great Britain

This was a memorable experience, firstly, the walk (in my case roll) down to the attraction along Princes Wharf is beautiful with views of colourful houses on the hillsides and passing many great attractions along the way including The Bristol Harbour Railway, Museum Square and Bristol Packet Boat Trips. If you have the time, don’t miss the opportunity to stop off for some tea coffee and a sandwich at Brunel’s Buttery, delicious options and reasonably priced considering the location. The SS Great Britain itself is set in a complex of multiple related attractions all of which are included in the “fare” price. Prices are as follows: Passenger £22 Child Passenger £13.50 Nipper (Meaning 4yrs or younger) Free! Carers are also free whilst accompanying a disabled passenger and finally should you be in receipt of universal credit. There is a discounted ticket available for £8 and students are £18.50 There are various other options on the website and if the prices above or not good enough, then consider this a ticket is valid for unlimited return visits for a whole year!! Absolutely unbeatable value. The ship itself is something to behold, being the biggest on the sea at the time it was built, you can really feel the history as your explore the nooks and crannies, from the basic cabins to the opulent first class dining room, you can spend hours upon hours reading, listening and experiencing this incredible piece of history. In regards to accessibility, absolutely top marks, I did not struggle to find my way around and amazingly I didn’t actually get stuck anywhere stupid 😂, which is absolutely a first for me! There are plenty of staff roaming around should you require assistance and they are all incredibly friendly and credit to the people of Bristol. #ship #history #bristol #valueformoney #unitedkingdom #southwest
