Fun free attraction in city centre

Excellent and free city museum. The building itself is absolutely beautiful. A prime example of Victorian era architecture. Set over several floors this has something for everyone. The fine arts collection is impressive with some notable artists on display which gives a sense of grandeur. The Japanese porcelain collection is worth a look too. If you like history the Egyptian exhibition is excellent, informative and interesting. Quite impressive for a smaller UK city. There are also dinosaur fossils on display as well as a prehistoric section. The standout has to the replica airplane hanging from the ceiling. Quite a sight!
