Mekong Delta Tour - Ho Chi Minh City

#passionpassport We went by bike to see Mekong Delta and it took 3 hours to reach there from Ho Chi Minh city. Then we took one tour on spot and they took out to various places. We spent a day cruising the Delta on small paddle boats in the canals and larger motorised wooden boats between the Islands. The river is so fertile that although rural it is densely populated. People live, trade, go to school and travel along the riverbanks. The Delta is called the "rice basket of Vietnam" as the surrounding land is farmed for rice, coconuts and vegetables. #passionpassport #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration
