The Australian War Memorial in Canberra is a must see when visiting the capital of Australia. It's so much more than a memorial as it also acts as a museum. The memorial commemorates the Australian involvement in war throughout history, from the colonial period to the first world War and more recent events. You can find lots of items on display such as old uniforms, medals and even fighter jets and tanks.
