#traveldiaries I recently spent a day at Porto Santa Margherita in Caorle, Italy, and it was a fantastic blend of seaside relaxation and small-town charm! 🏖️ Located just across the Livenza River from Caorle, Porto Santa Margherita is perfect for those looking for a more laid-back beach experience. The beach itself is clean and well-maintained, with free sections as well as private areas where you can rent sunbeds for about €15-20. The water was warm and great for swimming, and the marina added a nice scenic touch to the coastline. After a morning on the beach, I wandered around the town’s little shops and cafes. It’s not as touristy as Caorle, so it felt more local and relaxed. For a bit of history, you can take a short trip to the old town of Caorle, which is only a 10-minute drive away. There, I enjoyed wandering through the colorful streets and visiting the Duomo.
