Changzhou Renaissance Galaxy Upon arriving at the Renaissance Galaxy, it looks quite grand and stylish from the outside. It is very close to West Tai Lake, where you can take a lakeside walk. There are many people dancing in the square at night, making it quite lively. I checked into a lake view room, the room size is standard, with a bathtub and separate wet and dry areas, the style is quite business-like, which I really like. Let me mention the elevator, it's very fast, extremely fast, my ears popped. I thought it was just me, but I encountered other guests complaining about it too. The hotel has a strong commercial atmosphere overall. There is a sales center in the lobby, art shops and cultural and creative display cabinets in the corridors, beverage vending machines and toy vending machines, and some claw machines. They offer paid chess rooms, table tennis, billiards, and a movie room. Free amenities include a reading room and a children's slide. For breakfast, I had a bowl of noodles, a glass of milk, and some fruit. There wasn't much variety, and there were a lot of people eating. Some food stations were empty, and the good bread was gone as soon as it was put out, so I didn't get to eat any. Executive Lounge: The afternoon tea included cola, Sprite, soda water, and two kinds of juice, along with cookies and dried fruits. The happy hour had a few hot dishes, the soup was very good, the cold dishes were average, and the cakes were not commendable. They were okay on the first bite but became cloying on the second. I love eating desserts and cakes. Overall, it was enough to fill the stomach, but it's a pity the dishes could have tasted better. It wouldn't matter if there were fewer varieties since it's just a light meal. The lounge is a bit small and crowded. I even witnessed two guests having an argument, which seemed to be due to the environment setup. I haven't seen such arguments in other lounges because of queuing. Overall, it's worth staying at. I really like the design style, and the surrounding environment is quite good, suitable for relaxing. But don't have too high expectations for other aspects. I will try their buffet next time to see what level it is.
