Travel to Laojun Mountain

📍Address: Laojun Mountain is located in Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It is 3 km southeast of Luanchuan County. 🚗Transportation: You can drive or take public transportation to Laojun Mountain. See below for more details: Driving: If you choose to drive, you can take the expressway to Laojun Mountain from different directions. For example, if you are coming from Zhengzhou, Anyang, or Hebi, you can take the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway and transfer to the Zhengzhou-Luanchuan Expressway. Exit at Laojun Mountain Station and drive straight for 4 km along Luanzhou Avenue to reach the scenic area. Public transportation: If you are coming from Luoyang, you can take a coach to Luanchuan County at Luoyang Longmen Coach Station. The journey takes about 2 hours on the expressway. The coach will pass by Laojun Mountain Scenic Area. You can get off at the "Laojun Mountain Scenic Area" stop and walk for 3 minutes to reach the ticket center. 👍️Must-see attractions: Daodefu Square: A great place to learn about Taoist culture and history. Mazong Ridge: Enjoy the magnificent mountain views. Yuhuang Peak: One of the best places to watch the sunrise and sea of clouds. Laojun Temple: A temple dedicated to Taishang Laojun, the founder of Taoism, and Laozi. It has great religious significance. Bell and Drum Tower: Listen to traditional Taoist music and experience the Taoist culture. 🎟️Tickets: Tickets to Laojun Mountain cost CNY 100, but recent college entrance exam takers can enter for free. We recommend booking tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in line. 💗Other tips: Dress code: The temperature is lower at the top of the mountain, so we recommend wearing more clothes to avoid catching a cold. Dining: The scenic area has rest areas that offer drinks, bread, instant noodles, and other food. However, the prices are slightly higher, so we recommend bringing your own snacks. Accommodation: If you plan to stay overnight on the mountain, you can stay at the accommodation on the top of the mountain. Although the price is higher, you can enjoy a unique experience.
