You must save a day for Wulong when visiting Chongqing. It's totally worth it!

Once again, I was amazed by the wonders of nature. Chongqing, a city full of artistic atmosphere, not only has spicy food, lively street scenes, and 8D magic, but also world-class natural heritage sites of Tiankeng Difeng, located more than 100 meters underground. Wulong is about a 3-hour drive from downtown Chongqing. As we had elderly people with us, we chose to join a small tour group, which was very convenient. We only had to focus on having fun and didn't have to worry about anything. 🌈One-day tour itinerary: Depart at 7:30 am—Wujiang Gallery—Lunch—Three Natural Bridges—Longshuixia Fissure—Return 👉Three Natural Bridges: The tour takes about 3 hours. This is the filming location of the movie Curse of the Golden Flower. There are two main sinkholes, Tianlong Tiankeng and Shenying Tiankeng, surrounded by cliffs, with lush vegetation at the bottom, like a paradise. The landmark building in the sinkhole, Tianfu Post House, is a replica of a post house from the Tang Dynasty. Standing on a high place, you can take a panoramic photo. 👉Longshuixia Fissure: It's a short drive from the sinkholes, only about ten minutes. The fissure is 5 kilometers long and 200-500 meters deep, with the narrowest point being only 1-2 meters. There are streams, waterfalls, and underground rivers in the valley. The tour takes about 2 hours. Walk along the winding wooden plank road built along the cliff walls. Sunlight filters through narrow gaps and sprinkles onto the valley floor, forming dynamic light spots. The cliffs on both sides are covered with ferns, moss, and other moisture-loving plants, creating a stunning scene under the light and shadow. 👉Wujiang Gallery: It's just a viewing platform with average scenery, a place for a break and a quick photo op.
