Yuantong Ancient Town

Yuantong Town is located in the west of Chengdu, 40 kilometers away from downtown Chengdu. It is connected to Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain in the north, 20 kilometers away from Qingcheng Mountain; it is connected to Chongzhou City, a provincial historical and cultural city, in the south, 11 kilometers away from Chongzhou City. It is the first stop of the "Ancient Town Golden Triangle" in Chongzhou, 8 kilometers away from Jiezi Ancient Town and 9 kilometers away from Huaiyuan Ancient Town. It is also a famous historical and cultural town in Sichuan, a famous town of pottery and cast pipe. Yuantong Ancient Town has a history of 1,500 years. It is known as the "Millennium Chengdu, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" and "Renli Yixiang". It is represented by Chen's Courtyard, Yongli Bridge, Huang's Former Residence, Huang's Ancestral Hall, Catholic Church, Luo's Former Residence, and Wang Guoying's Former Residence.
