Imagine standing at the foot of a thousand-year-old temple, the breeze blowing, as if you can hear the whispers of history. All of this is closely related to the blood-boiling "Black Myth: Wukong". In addition to the beautiful shape of the Three Pagodas, there is a most attractive legend, which is closely related to a treasure. There has always been such a story circulating in Dali: a large amount of treasure is buried under the Three Pagodas, and the Three Pagodas are the gateway to the treasure, so a special method was used to build the Three Pagodas, which has stood for thousands of years. In 1978, an archaeological team came to Dali, Yunnan. Their main purpose this time was to repair the Three Pagodas and protect the cultural relics. According to the local legend, they did find a copper box on the top of the pagoda, but it was not a box, it was actually the base of a pagoda base, because the base was square and the pagoda on it was round. During the 1925 earthquake, when the pagoda fell to the ground, a hole was left, and then in the hole (about 30 cm in diameter), Buddha statues, vajra pestles and other cultural relics were found. After sorting out, more than 500 cultural relics were found on the top of the pagoda, including various exquisite gold and silver Buddha statues, pagoda models, scriptures, coins and other cultural relics. The large number of these cultural relics and the exquisite workmanship are the most and most valuable ones found in Dali so far. Through the study of these cultural relics and related historical materials, it was found that there was once a large-scale temple on the wasteland behind the Three Pagodas, which was the unknown Chongsheng Temple in Dali. The Three Pagodas are only a small part of it. The cultural relics unearthed from the Three Pagodas have helped us uncover the tip of the iceberg of Chongsheng Temple. Those exquisite murals, ancient sculptures, and even the wind chimes on the top of the pagoda, all seem to be telling a moving story.
