Danzhou Dongpo Academy.

Dongpo Academy was built in the fifth year of Shaosheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1098). The academy is located in the northeast and faces the southwest. The buildings in the courtyard are arranged on three axes. The main buildings are arranged on the central axis, which are the first gate, the wine pavilion, the wine hall, the main hall, the east and west verandahs, and the eastern axis of the Breqin Marshal. Exhibition halls are arranged along the hall and west axis; walls are built around the academy, and protective signs are erected in front of the first gate. Dongpo Academy is not only a classroom for carrying forward the excellent cultural heritage of ancient times and conducting patriotic education, but also a base for scientific research. On October 21, 1996, Dongpo Academy was announced by the State Council as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
