A date under the stars - DoubleTree by Hilton Foshan Nanhai After work on Friday, just in time for the weekend, my sister came to visit me in Guangzhou. I picked her up and we went to this newly opened DoubleTree. Leaving from the airport, it took about an hour to get there~ The hotel is located in Nanhai District, Foshan, close to Liwan in Guangzhou, and less than two kilometers away from Jiaokou subway station, so it should be quite convenient to take the subway to Jiaokou and then take a taxi there~ This time we didn't park in the parking lot, the security guard said it was fine to park on the first floor, so we parked next to a 911gt3 on the first floor, basking in its glory haha (forgot to take a picture, but it really looked cool!) Firstly, to check in, you need to take the elevator to the 50th floor (which seems to actually only have 40 floors), and after checking in, take the elevator from the 50th floor down to the guest room floors. This is a bit of a hassle, but it's not a big deal. This stay, we were upgraded to a high-level scenic room, which was a corner room because the building is triangular, so it's much larger than the regular rooms! The hardware is really on par with Conrad, with an automatic toilet, electric curtains, truly unbeatable. The main selling point! The room is equipped with a starry sky ceiling, I asked the room manager, and she said not all room types are equipped with a starry sky ceiling. My sister really liked it, she wanted it on at night, and even during the day with the curtains drawn~ Early booking saves money, less than 500 after tax. Compared to the older hotels in Guangfo, the price is really cheap. There are not many places to play nearby, there is a mall downstairs, but unfortunately, the mall is still slowly getting tenants, but Haidilao has already opened, and I took my sister there for a late-night snack~ This area is also close to the old town area of Liwan, where you can visit Shangxiajiu and Yongqing Square (Yongqing Square is still being renovated, and there are rumors that an Indigo will be built there) All in all, if you don't consider the location, friends living in Guangfo can consider having a weekend staycation
