Fukuoka Cherry Blossom Viewing Strategy｜Maizuru Park

Japan's cherry blossom season is approaching, and it's the perfect time to visit Fukuoka for cherry blossom viewing! Compared to popular cities like Tokyo and Osaka, Fukuoka has relatively fewer crowds, making the cherry blossom viewing experience more relaxed and enjoyable. If you want to see cherry blossoms, Maizuru Park is definitely the best choice. The scenery is top-notch, and the best part is that the admission is free! However, during this visit, the cherry blossoms were not fully in bloom yet, which was a bit of a pity. But looking at the cherry trees in the park, you can imagine how spectacular it will be when they are in full bloom! 📍Address: 1 Jonai, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0043, Japan In the park, we also encountered several couples taking wedding photos under the cherry blossom trees, which was incredibly beautiful. Many locals were also picnicking under the trees, and some were even playing mahjong directly under the cherry blossom trees🤣 They really know how to enjoy life. Later, we went to Ohori Park, where the cherry blossoms were blooming even better than in Maizuru Park. It's definitely worth a visit! 🚗Transportation We chose to take a taxi to get there, which was convenient and fast. For the return trip, we took the subway, and Ohori Park Station is directly connected to the park, making transportation super convenient!
