Hakata Umakamon Street is located in a corner of SUNPLAZA in the basement of Fukuoka Center Building and Fukuoka Asahi Building. It is a restaurant district near Hakata Station, directly connected to JR and Fukuoka Municipal Subway Hakata Station and Hakata Bus Terminal. There are restaurants and izakayas serving Hakata and Fukuoka specialties, but the restaurant I would most recommend is Daichi no Udon. The slightly transparent noodles and tempura are irresistible. It is a delicious udon restaurant that is popular in Fukuoka at an affordable price. You can stop by while walking around Fukuoka and Hakata!
