Exploring Gexian Village

#favouriteitinerary A while ago, I visited Gexian Village at the foot of Gexian Mountain, a famous Taoist site. The village perfectly blends natural beauty with rich cultural history. For a 130 RMB ticket (230 RMB with cable car), we explored Gexian Temple, tracing the footsteps of Taoist immortal Ge Xuan and marveling at its architecture. The remarkable peaks—Gexian, Xianglu, and Ziyun—offered a fairyland-like experience with their sea of clouds and pine waves. As night fell, the village lit up with lanterns, and we enjoyed the Lingbao Market and a romantic starlit dinner. Starting our exploration around 4 PM allowed us to catch the enchanting dusk scenery and the evening shows at 6 PM. Remember to respect the ancient buildings by not littering or touching the artifacts. Gexian Village is an earthly paradise, offering a blend of historical charm and natural beauty.
