Hi everyone, I just got back from a trip to Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou with my little one, and I have to share this amazing parent-child experience with you all🎈! This is a guide full of useful tips, so be sure to save it📝! 🌅Opening hours: Baiyun Mountain opens at 6am and closes around 9pm. We arrived around 8am, when the sun was just right and the temperature was pleasant, perfect for taking kids out. If you go too early, the little ones might not be able to get up, and if you go too late, it might get too hot for a comfortable hike. 🚗Parking: Attention to parents who are driving🅿! There are several parking lots around Baiyun Mountain. We parked near the South Gate, where there were plenty of spaces, but it might be a bit harder to find a spot on weekends. The parking fee is about CNY 6 per hour. We spent the whole day there and paid around CNY 50 for parking. 🚇Public transport: Besides driving, public transport is also super convenient. Take Metro Line 2 to Xiaogang Station, Exit B. It's just a short walk to one of the entrances of Baiyun Mountain. If you don't want to walk, there are plenty of shared bikes outside the subway station. Just scan the code and ride! It's a leisurely way to get there with kids, and they'll love seeing the scenery along the way🚲. 🎯Route: Entering from the South Gate is like stepping into a vast green kingdom🌳. Lush trees and colorful flowers abound, instantly captivating the little ones, who ran around excitedly. We strolled along the gentle path, dotted with pavilions where we could rest, drink water, and have some snacks🍪. Not far from the entrance, we came across a large lawn where many children were flying kites🪁. Our little one couldn't resist joining in. Watching the kites soar high in the blue sky, with children's laughter echoing around, it was truly a beautiful moment. Continuing up from the lawn leads to Moxing Ridge. Considering our child's stamina, we opted for the cable car🚠. Although the queue was a bit long, the staff managed it efficiently, and we boarded the cable car after about 20 minutes. The little one excitedly pointed at the scenery outside, exclaiming, "Mom and Dad, look, it's so beautiful!" The aerial view of Baiyun Mountain, with its verdant trees and rolling hills, was a unique experience. The cable car reached Moxing Ridge, the highest point of Baiyun Mountain, at 382 meters above sea level. From the viewing platform, the entire city of Guangzhou unfolded before our eyes, with skyscrapers densely packed together and the Pearl River meandering like a silver ribbon in the distance. The kids were awestruck by the magnificent view, letting out continuous "wows." 💡Tips: 1. Make sure your child wears comfortable sneakers👟. Some paths on Baiyun Mountain are a bit steep, so comfortable shoes will make it easier for them to walk and prevent falls and injuries. 2. Bring enough water and snacks🍎. Kids tend to get thirsty and hungry while hiking, so it's important to keep them energized. There are shops on the mountain, but the prices are higher than usual. 3. Take sun protection measures. Hats🧢, sunglasses🕶, and sunscreen are essential. The sun in Guangzhou can be quite strong, so don't let your child get sunburned. 4.
