Haikou Marriott Hotel: A relaxing seaside resort This trip to Haikou was a spontaneous family trip. My son wanted to play in the sand, my mom wanted to see the sea, and I was in charge of planning. I checked flights from Ningbo to Haikou and the prices were very attractive, so Haikou became our vacation destination. We had plenty of time, so we took a train to Haikou Station, which was very convenient and only took a few minutes. The hotel was magnificent. It consists of 8 Chinese-style palace buildings, like a coastal palace with an oriental charm. The hotel kindly upgraded our room to a 180-degree sea view room. When they saw we had a child with us, the staff quickly brought us a children's toiletry set. I was particularly interested in the children's play facilities, and they were a pleasant surprise. There were so many fun things to do, the kids had a great time, and the adults could relax. There are 2 outdoor pools, one for adults and one for children. The children's pool has a floating bridge, hand-cranked boats, and other fun facilities. The lazy river is a great place to have afternoon tea. There are also 6 hot spring pools to relax in. The Little Traveler's Camp has a variety of activities for children. You can get a children's passport to participate in a series of free activities. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away. The sand is soft and fine, and you can find cute little crabs if you look carefully. The breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of Hainan specialties. You can try a little of everything and be full. The service is excellent. The staff helped us with our luggage and were always smiling and friendly. The hotel is close to the CDF Duty Free Mall, which is very convenient and adds more fun and convenience to the vacation.
